Built in 1880, this classic home maintains its historic charm but with modern amenities.  Our spacious kitchen is equipped with everything you need for a weekend or a month. Adjacent to the kitchen, you will find a large and private deck, complete with gas barbeque and patio table where you can eat al-fresco while enjoying the city views.

All 4 bedrooms are extremely spacious and two have stunning city views.  They are equipped with plush pillow-top mattresses and luxury linens.  The first bedroom, which is located on the main floor, has a large bay window overlooking the garden and a view of the city.  It is furnished with a king size bed, a 42” flat screen TV with satellite service and a DVD player. The 2nd main floor bedroom has a queen size bed, a 32” TV with satellite service and DVD player.  The 3rd bedroom is on the 2ndlevel and has unobstructed city views.  It is furnished with a queen size bed, a 32” TV with satellite and a DVD player. In addition, this room has a daybed with a new pillow-top twin mattress. The 4th bedroom is on the second level with both a queen bed and a full size bed. This room has a 32” TV with satellite and a DVD player.

The main floor bath has a spa tub and shower, perfect for a glass of wine and good book.  The main level bathroom conveniently has a separate WC; a classic feature in Victorian homes. The upstairs bath has both a tub and shower and is easily accessed by both bedrooms. 

The bright and spacious living room is an ideal gathering place with a wood burning fireplace, a large dining area, a 42” flat screen TV with satellite and a DVD player, a library of movies & books and an assortment of games.

We have high speed wireless internet and a supply of city maps and guide books for you to use to plan your days.  Laundry facilities are located in the garage and are provided without charge for our guests. If needed, a blow up queen mattress is available. There is also a state of the art treadmill in the event you wish to burn off calories from your exceptional SF dining experiences.

Our Painted Lady is perfectly located in the "heart" of the city, and a short two blocks from Alamo Square Park (home to the famous "Painted Ladies"). The panoramic city views from this park make it the most photographed and filmed location in San Francisco.

Also within strolling distance are trendy restaurants and cafes, great shopping, and interesting attractions, including the famous Haight Ashbury District and the Castro. Or use our public transportation conveniently located at the corner of the block to discover the rest of the city. Museums, theatres and most other attractions are within a short bus ride.
