Large Storybook "Rose Cottage" One Block from Beach in South Haven

Charming, comfortable and cozy are all appropriate
descriptions for The Rose Cottage. This large, 5 bedroom home is
located a short one block walk from the quiet South Haven First
Street beach.

This lovely home features many large gathering areas and
therefore is perfect for families. The main floor includes a master
bedroom (bedroom #1/ queen bed) and remodeled bath with tub/shower.
The new kitchen includes appliances as well as all dishes and
utensils.
There is also a 3 sided solarium with floor to ceiling windows and a
dining area. The living room includes stereo, CATV with DVD and
library for your enjoyment. Finally, most impressive is the very
large screened in porch with lovely white wicker seating and dining
area with table which seats up to10.

The upstairs includes 4 more spacious bedrooms and a newly
added bathroom. All upstairs bedrooms are charming with vaulted
ceilings, loads of closet space and room for extra guests. The front
bedroom (bedroom #2/queen bed) is huge and also has french doors
which open to a small overlook of the front yard. Bedroom #3/double
bed is quaint with a nautical theme, and bedroom #4/twin bed and
toddler bed is also cozy and newly remodeled. Finally, Bedroom #5
features/ 2 twin beds and a turreted ceiling with chandelier. The
upstairs bath is large with a shower and quaint window seat.

The house is surrounded by beautiful mature landscaping and
probably some of the largest maple trees in the county. The back
yard is very large and perfect for summer games. There is also a
fire pit for roasting marshmallows. You can enjoy sitting outside in
the comfortable adirondack chairs or in the comfort of the bug- free
screened in porch. A long driveway provides ample parking.

The Rose Cottage is located on a quiet family street, and is
just minutes from downtown S. Haven. Also available are many bikes
for your use to ride into town or on the scenic Kal Haven Trail
which is just minutes away.

Very few properties offer the size of this cottage with such
easy access to Lake Michigan and at such a reasonable rate.

We offer all the comforts of home but do request that you
provide all towels, including bath and beach towels. The kitchen is
fully equipped with dishes, pots and pans, stove, fridge and
microwave as well as small appliances (toaster, coffee maker, and
blender).
We also provide paper products and soap for kitchen and bath.
The bedrooms include linens, pillows, blankets, and comforters.
We have cable TV with DVD, Wireless Internet Service,
local phone service, many boardgames and puzzles. We also provide a
charcoal grill, iron and ironing board, and a portable crib upon
request. Bicycles are also available for your use.
Please, no smoking and no pets.

South Haven is a wonderful resort town with great shopping
and restaurants. There are numerous golf courses nearby. Water
sports abound as well as fun winter activities such as ice skating
and cross country skiing. Winery tours and antiquing are also
popular.

The Rose Cottage is available for rental year round.
The High Season (Memorial Day to Labor Day) rate is $2400.00 per week. 

During the off season, the cottage is available for a rate of
$300.00/night with a 3 night minimum.

A 50% deposit is due within 10 days of reserving to hold the
week. The remaining 50% is due 60 days prior to the arrival date
along with a $250 security deposit.
The security deposit is returned within 2 weeks of departure.
Should cancellation be necessary, we charge a $75 flat fee.
If the cottage can be re-booked for that week, all funds will be
returned, less the $75 flat fee. If the cottage can not be re-
booked, all funds paid will be forfeited less the security deposit.
We will provide a rental agreement at time of reservation.


Check In is Friday after 3:00 p.m. EST.
Check Out is following Friday no later than 10:00 a.m. EST.
