vacation rental description
"Extraordinary" is the only word to describe our immense Mediterranean-style 3-storey oceanfront home at Bella Vista. Featuring a pool, spa, elevator, gameroom, piano, and huge balconies with amazing views, it is the last word in luxury at the beach!
You may feel the need to double-check the address as you ascend the stairs to our second-storey entrance -- yes, it's really true, you do belong in this 20-room, 10,000-square-foot palace! The slate steps of the front porch give way to marble floors in the entry hall, and to one side a magnificent formal dining room complete with chandelier stands ready for your finest meals. On the other side is a formal parlor with Oriental rug and cozy fireplace.
Step into the huge living room and you feel transported to the ocean's edge, thanks to panoramic views from enormous windows! Flanked by columns, the formal living room combines elegance with comfort. Cushiony, soft couches invite you to linger and watch a favorite movie on the giant HDTV, or to simply gaze at the pure blue Florida sky.
If you need to get a little closer, step onto the brick balcony, which runs the full length of the house with no pillars or obstructions. You can see for miles across the beautiful dunes and coquina-shell sands of Cinnamon Beach. Have a seat at the patio table and sip a cold drink. Now this is really living!
There are many options for dining at Bella Vista. In addition to the patio table and the formal table, a long dining table sits just beyond the living room, in front of glorious floor-to-ceiling views. No matter how big your party, you'll find wonderful places for impromptu meals, board games, and those late-night reminiscences that begin over dinner and continue until the last bottle of wine is empty!
You can chill that wine in the special cooler in our kitchen. Designed for large parties, our state-of-the-art kitchen is certain to delight even the most finicky cook. It includes two dishwashers, a convection oven as well as a conventional, a 42-inch-wide refrigerator, a central island, a double sink, and the full complement of cookware, dishes, utensils, glassware, and gadgets. (And for less formal occasions, there is a complete summer kitchen on the patio by the pool!)
There are several bedrooms on this storey, including one with a queen-sized bed and sliding-glass door access to the balcony. The entire ocean-facing wall of this room is glass, creating a breathtaking view that combines open space with privacy!
Another bedroom offers a king-sized bed, walk-in closet, and en-suite bathroom, while a half-bath services the living and dining areas.
To get to the third floor, you could take the winding stairs, but why not give the mahogany elevator a whirl? Inside is a magnificent chandelier, and the operation of the elevator is soundless. (Yes, at least one member of your party will become addicted to this elevator before the first day is out!)
Among the wonders of the third floor is a special recessed area of the den for the piano, complete with a hand-painted mural on the wall. Another fireplace greets you here, along with a sectional sofa, huge HDTV, wet bar, crown molding, recessed lighting, and a world-class view. There is also a stunning office, with coffered ceilings, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves, a sleeper sofa, and balcony access.
The master suite is a crowning glory, with a huge 4-poster king-sized bed, chaise lounge, medallion ceiling, and access to the balcony. The en-suite bath includes an oversized soaking tub with Jacuzzi jets, a bidet, a walk-in shower, and a separate powder area.
The guest room features 2 king-sized beds, an en-suite bath, French doors and full-length windows.
On the ground floor, a gameroom boasts a pool table, 2 sofa sleepers, theatre-style HDTV, full bar, fridge, and icemaker. The adjacent room contains 2 king-sized beds and a full bath. Both rooms open out to the pool surround, and a private path leads to the beach.
Bella Vista is a breathtaking house, lovely in every detail.
