Vacation Rental Description

Brand New 2007 Log Cabin – Rustic Ambiance with all of the 
conveniences of modern mountain living.  Our private mountain 
getaway offers beautiful mountain views in all seasons from the full 
wraparound deck on the second level, complete with two person 
hammock, and private patio off master on the third story.  

The kitchen has granite counter tops and modern stainless steel 
appliances.  All pots, pans, dishes, glasses and utensils are 
provided for your convenience.  There is a large gas grill on the 
patio with indoor and outdoor dining areas.

The spacious family room has big cozy chair with ottoman and brushed 
leather sofa with recliners on each end nestled up to the two story 
wood burning fire place.  There is also a reading nook with 
bookshelf in the opposite corner.  Hardwood and tile floors through 
out add to the mountain décor.

There are three bedrooms, all could be the master, you chose!  Large 
downstairs bedroom with queen pine bed and full bath with huge 
Jacuzzi tub.  Large upstairs bedroom complete with double cedar bed, 
large closet and full bath.  Second upstairs bedroom with queen 
cedar bed and private patio overlooking Mountain Air community.  
High quality towels and linens are provided and unique to each room.

We are planning on finishing the first floor shortly and that will 
add a fourth bedroom, extra full bath and a mud room to store bike, 
kayaks, and more!  This will complete the house with over 3000 sq ft 
of space to play!  If booked this year prices will stay the same so 
book before completed!

Loft equipped with TV, satellite, wireless hotspot, playstation with games, DVD player, books, 
trail maps, and comfy bean bag chairs.  Also available for your 
convenience are two high quality mountain bikes so you can hit the 
trails or take a leisurely ride down to the river. 

Our cozy cabin is located at the top of its mountain with its base 
on the Cane River which is known for its native trout, bring your 
fly rod!  It is also a great place to just relax and enjoy the 
outdoors.  We are about 10 minutes from the small own of 
Burnsville.  Our sleepy town has a welcoming downtown with central 
park nestled among shops, restaurants and a historic hotel with 
private dining by reservation only.  Centrally located, 30 minutes 
from Asheville, Spruce Pines, skiing, the base of Mt. Mitchell, 
horseback riding, rafting. . . etc.  Hiking and biking opportunities 
all around with a personal connection to cycling/mountain biking 
club in Ashville with organized group rides available.  45 minutes 
to Linville Caverns, Little Switzerland, Biltmore, Grandfather 
Mountain, Blue Ridge Parkway and many other attractions.

There are so many great things about this place it is hard to list 
them all!

Activities and Attractions

 We are just up the mountain from the Cane River teeming with native 
trout, close to Asheville and the Biltmore, tons of hiking and 
biking opportunities, jem mining in Spruce Pines, skiing at Wolf 
Ridge is 30 minutes, Banner Elk 60 minutes, horseback riding, 
camping and rafting are also close by (about 30 minutes).  The AT 
trail snakes thru the area up near Roan Mountain, of course Mt. 
Mitchell with all its trails and the Pisgah National Forest is all 
around.  The Blue Ridge Parkway is accessible near Spruce Pines, 
Little Switzerland as well as Mt. Mitchell. There are tons of local 
artists and galleries in the area and there is always a festival 
going on near by!
