Completely renovated and tastefully furnished Victorian Cottage in the
beautiful upper
Haight-Ashbury/Buena Vista Heights neighborhood of San Francisco,
across the street
from 36-acre Buena Vista Park. The Cottage was once the carriage house
for the
neighboring and lovingly restored and maintained historic Victorian
house occupied by the
owners, has its own private entrances and mail box as well as its own
phone, cable TV,
and high-speed internet connection through the cable TV with a
wireless router. There is a
27" color TV with DVD player in the living room; another TV in one of
the bedrooms has a
built-in VCR.
The gated entry on Buena Vista Avenue East opens to a large private
garden with patio
leading to the front entry of the Cottage. Once inside, you step
through a small vestibule
into a large living room with lots of natural light that runs the
width of the Cottage and is
separated from the kitchen by a high counter and elegant above-counter
cabinets. On the
same floor is the fully-equipped kitchen (including plates, glasses,
flatware, pots & pans
as well as dishwasher, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and toaster
oven) and small office
and half-bath. Upstairs are two bedrooms with ample closet space, each
with a double
bed, dresser and other accessories. The bedrooms share a large modern
bathroom with
bathtub/shower combination. The washer and dryer are in one of the
large closets in the
east bedroom. Skylights brighten the hall, bath, and bedrooms of the
second floor. An
intercom system allows communication between the two floors, the front
gate, and the
additional entry on Buena Vista Terrace from the basement level.
