Camelback Ski Area is located within walking distance of our rental
unit. It is the biggest and best ski, snowboard and snow tubing area
in the Poconos. You’ll find 33 trails, 13 lifts including 2 high-speed
detachable quads, half pipe, 2 terrain parks, night skiing, and 100%
snowmaking.


Camelbeach features ten great slides, including the new Vortex and
Spin Cycle slides, an awesome wave pool, fantastic kids’ area and
other attractions.

Checkered Flag Challenge: The competition heats up this summer at
Camelbeach Waterpark. Brother against sister. Friend against friend.
Facing off at our new water racetrack—Checkered Flag Challenge! Take
your position at the starting line, and wait for the signal to "GO!"
Then race, head-first, toward the finish line. Checkered Flag
Challenge has eight lanes, but there can be only one winner. Each
race, competitors' rankings are displayed to the crowd. Go for the
glory! The checkered flag is waiting. Take the challenge—only at
Camelbeach Waterpark!

Tripple Venom: Camelbeach Waterpark introduces Triple Venom! This
six-story-tall trio of slides offers you three different, totally
thrilling experiences!
* Challenge Viper's three intense curves as you plunge through 360
feet of translucent blue fiberglass.
* Experience weightlessness three times as you descend the
triple-dipping drop of the Serpent. It's 294 feet of multicolored fun!
* And for all-out, in-the-dark mayhem, face the Cobra's four
curves on its 370 feet of opaque red slide.


The Vortex and Spin Cycle: The only pair of bowl slides in the
Norheastern United States!

Kahuna Lagoon Wave Pool: The Kahuna Lagoon features a variety of
different waves, from gentle one-foot rollers to the “Big Kahuna” wave
of four to six feet in height! It has the biggest waves in the
Northeaster United States!

The Titan: The world’s largest slide of it’s kind, at eight stories
tall and three football fields in length!

Blue Nile Adventure River: This 1,000-foot-long journey will take you
through waterfalls, past geysers, across bubbling waters.

Uphill Capacity: 18,600 per hour

Snowmaking: 100% on all 156 acres of terrain

Hours of Operation: 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. during daily operation;
12:30 – 5:00 p.m. on Christmas Day

Opening Date: Late November/Early December, weather permitting

End of Season: Late March

Ski School: Adult Programs, Racing Instruction, Children’s Learning
Center, Day Packages, Group Lessons, Private Lessons,
Introduce-A-Friend-to-Skiing

Nursery: Baby-sitting for children age 12 months or older, by the hour
or the day. Offer weekends early and late season; daily mid-December
through mid-March. Cost is $3.00 per hour per child or $24.00 per day.
Hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Snowboarding: 2 Terrain Parks and half pipe, all lighted for nighttime use
