Very close to the beach! - Public Beach Access leads you onto stunning soft white sands and emerald green waters of the Panhandle (2 and a half minutes). Our luxurious, large and comfortable home suits everyones needs from family and friends to groups for  Weddings, birthday celebrations, reunions, etc. 
Many who stay at our home enjoy the short walk down to the beach in the evening and say it is an absolute must to enjoy the evening sounds of beach waves, cooling sands and watch the sun set – serenity to end your perfect day.

There is so much to do in Destin, if you can tear yourself away from our welcoming home and private pool couryard!   Anyone interested in recreational activities, will be pleased to know there are golf courses, waterparks, go-karting, various restaurants, fire work displays, dolphin cruises, some fabulous outlet malls (Silver Sands), science museum (great fun for the family!) etc. within an approx. 3 mile drive and we would be only too happy to provide further information on these activities if you so wish (some activities are limited over the low season months).  There is also a the huge convenience of a supermarket (Publix) less than a mile from Peace Place, for you to stock up on your vacational supplies (there are two bbq's for your use - gas and grill coal).  The private pool has optional heating and, therefore, available for use all year round!  The pool is also surrounded by a wall and foilage so you will have the privacy to enjoy with your group without the worries of pedestrians trying to have a nose at what you're up to. 

All our guests enjoy free WiFi and cable television.

Peace Place has the uniqueness of the apartment being attached to the main house, so it can be used either separately by closing it off (it is self-contained) or alternatively by opening it up into the main house, it becomes one home.  The choice is purely yours and your groups.  You can alternate its use to meet your individual needs, e.g. if someone in the group (e.g. grandparents) might be looking for a little quieter time during the day or evening, this is easily accommodated by yourselves.  As the apartment is self-contained, some families/groups love the fact that there are two kitchens, two washing machines and two dryers for use – a great perk when trying to cook and clothes wash in large groups.

Apartment sleeps 6.  It's a self contained 2br/2ba apartment with its own living area, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, private entrance, and a private deck with chairs, table and sun umbrella.  The pool, BBQ grill and parking are easily accessible from the apartment.

Parking is for 6+ cars.  RV, BUS or BOAT is OK. Very easy in and out.

Within one mile you will find a major regional shopping center, a 14 screen movie complex, Publix, WalMart, the Big Kahuna Water Park and more.
 
Within three miles you will find 50 steak/chops/seafood restaurants, nine golf courses, two major resorts, Destin Harbor, Destin Commons Regional Mall and the largest discount shopping complex in the US.

Your hosts;  David & Katherine are actually English and came over to the Destin area having fallen in love with it so much; with its white sand and emerald clear water, friendly locals and fabulous weather they have decided to invest in what they see to be the perfect vacation home. They have also bought another house within a 10 minute drive so they can be on hand to help out and offer an outstanding service.
