Wrangell by the Sea vacation home is a 3-bedroom 3000 sq ft
waterfront home in beautiful Wrangell, Alaska. The home is a high
quality completely furnished modern home, situated on Zimovia
Straits. The decks off the bedrooms and living room allows you to
sit and watch the eagles, boats and sunset. Or, you can just relax
and watch the activity. It also has a large deckhouse that extends
over the beach that can be used for gathering or social activities.
Being only 8 blocks from downtown Wrangell, walking or biking to
town is easy. The local stores will deliver your supplies. The
home is situated in a residential secluded area.

The home is fully equipped with all the modern conveniences, phone,
satelite tv, 6 burner gas stove, fireplace, barbeque, dishwasher,
and washer/dryer. A complete list can be furnished. The home is a 2
story 3 bedroom 3 1/2 baths 3 being off the bedrooms. The master
bedroom has large picture windows looking out to the sea. You will
wake up to eagles and ravens on the porch. Wrangell is situate 89
miles north of Ketchican. Alaska Airlines has direct flight to/from
Seattle and Alask Marine Highways Ferries stop at Wrangell.

Some of the most popular activities are boating to Anan Wildlife
Observatory, exploring the Stikine River and glaciers, visiting the
Wrangell museum (best in SE Alaska), golfing at USGA Muskeg Meadows,
biking on the paved trails, and of course, salmon/halibut fishing

Many other events and adventures are identified on the Wrangell web
page, visitor bureau and Wrangell Chamber of Commerce. Fishing is
great May thru September. People are friendly and the area has high
quality tour guides.
