Vacation Rental Description

Imagine yourself in this spectacular Frank Lloyd Wright-style home,
nestled in the open desert in the Central Catalina Foothills. 
Breath-taking views of the mountains are available from virtually
every room.  A sunken living room with huge windows offers comfortable
furnishings for large groups, and the brand-new dining room easily
accommodates 12 people or more. The separate guest house/casita offers
extra privacy for the occupants.

The entire house is constructed of burnt adobe brick, which offers a
rustic warmth and charm blended with all the modern conveniences.  The
adobe maintains a comfortable interior temperature in all seasons. 
Surrounded by palm trees, this "Sanctuary in the Desert" has the
feeling of staying in your very own private resort.

The Kitchen is fully stocked for gourmet cooking: All-Clad pots and
pans, food processor, blender, waffle iron, pasta pot, spices and
seasonings, all utensils, etc.

Extensive covered ramadas and patios--all executed in the style of
Frank Lloyd Wright--surround the house and Casita, offering
opportunity for outside entertaining, viewing the gorgeous desert
sunsets, watching the birds, and communing with the desert.  The
backyard features a pathway through a private cactus and succulent
specimen garden located on over an acre of open desert.

The pool and spa face the mountain, and the walled-in sun deck offers
ultimate privacy.

Four spacious bedrooms sleep 8 comfortably, with air mattresses
available for 2 more people:

Master BR #1 in the main house has a King size bed, but the mattresses
can be pulled apart to sleep 2 separately. 

Master BR #2 in the main house features a Queen size bed.

Guest Room/Den in the main house has a Queen size sleeper sofa with a
foam mattress topper.

The separate Guest House/Casita has a King size Tempur-pedic mattress.

All 4 open and spacious Bathrooms offer showers, 2 with tubs.

The central location of the house, near Campbell Avenue and Skyline
Drive, makes access to upscale La Encantada Shopping Center and all of
the City of Tucson very convenient.  Quality restaurants are literally
minutes away in every direction.  AJ's supermarket, Trader Joes, and
Safeway are within minutes, also.  Hiking trails can be reached in
minutes by car.  The Tucson International Airport is 30 minutes away
by car.  Phoenix and Sky Harbor Airport are 100 miles/90 minutes by car.

a quality dwelling:

Juicer, Dishes and Silverware for large groups, Fine Linens for all
beds, Towel sets for all bathrooms, 6 Pool Towels, 2 Washing Machines,
2 Dryers, Hair dryers, Garage space for one car, Weber BBQ grill, 2
adult bicycles.

Space Museum, Tohono Chul Gardens, Tucson Botanical Gardens, Titan
Missile Museum, etc.

suggestions for a variety of day trips and all local activities.

Vacation Rental Rates

These rates are based on weekly stay, Saturday to Saturday.  They may
change based on size of group, length of stay, or season. Please
contact us to discuss partial weeks, if desired. 

June 1 through August:            $1000/week or $3600/month
September 1 through November:    $1500/week or $5000/month
December 1 through May:        $6000/month (Monthly rentals only)

Cleaning fee of $200/week
Pool Heat (propane):   $240/week if used
A fully-refundable Security Fee equal to the cost of rental is due
with contract.
