The Island Cottage - A cozy island getaway in Ambergris Caye

Our cozy retreat is set in a quiet neighborhood only steps from the
warm water of the Caribbean and just 3.5 miles south of San Pedro
Town on beautiful Ambergris Caye. A perfect place for relaxing and
soaking up the island sun.
The Island Cottage is a one bedroom, one bathroom home with
comfortable accommodations for two adults and one child. The large
fenced yard is only 100 feet, or one lot back, from the beach.
The air-conditioned bedroom has an inviting queen size bed topped
with quality linens, feather pillows and duvet. An armoire and
dresser provide plenty of space for storing personal belongings.
French doors lead out to the large sun-drenched deck.
The main room features a well equipped kitchen, dining area and
comfortable living area with sofabed. The room has air conditioning
but you may prefer to open the large windows that line the front of
the house and let in the gentle Caribbean breeze.

The Island Cottage is tastefully decorated and well appointed with
the following amenities;

Additional Notes:
- Pets are accepted with prior approval.
- Smoking is prohibited inside The Island Cottage.
- We recommend renting a golf cart for transportation to and from
town.
- Airport transfers can be arranged for US$15 each way.

- Snorkel/Swim
The water at the end of our pier is warm and shallow (approx 3 ½
feet
deep) with a sandy bottom, great for taking a refreshing dip or
snorkel along our small artificial reef and feed the friendly fish.
Don't forget to pack your snorkel gear!
- Fly Fishing
The south end of Ambergris Caye has very shallow water that is
popular with Bone fish and Permit. Test your angling abilities only
steps from your door. (Fishing gear not provided)
- Kayak
Our complimentary kayak is the perfect way to explore some of our
coastline and get some exercise!
- Bike Rides
Take our bicycles and explore the island.
- Bird watching
At dawn flocks of water birds gather in the mangroves just south of
the Cottage and within walking distance.
- Relaxing
The most popular thing to do on the island! Give in to the laid back
atmosphere and lounge under the beach palapa, at the end of the pier
or on your private deck. The sunset from the end of the dock can be
spectacular!
- Tours
Belize has many wonderful places to explore and experience. Tour
Mayan Ruins, Inner tube through an underground cave system, Scuba
dive the barrier reef, or swim with Nurse Sharks and Stingrays. This
is just a small sample of the tours available from our local tour
operators. Most tours will pick you up right from our dock.

June 1 to November 14:   $130.00 USD per night
November 15 to May 31:   $150.00 USD per night

- Rates do not include 9% tax
- A four night minimum is required for each reservation.
- A security deposit of $250USD is required for each reservation
- An additional security deposit of $250USD is required for pets
staying at The Island Cottage (after prior approval)
- A deposit of a minimum 50% of the rental is required to secure a
reservation. The balance, plus security deposit, is due 30 days
before arrival.
- Payment in full is required to make reservation less than 30 days
before arrival.
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival date are
entitled to a refund minus the rate of 1 night's stay.
Cancellations made less than 30 days before arrival are entitled to
NO refund.
