Mexico Beachfront Getaway

La Casa Jardin de Mayto is a remote vacation rental on the Pacific
coast of Mexico, located 2 hours South of Puerto Vallarta, in Mayto,
Jalisco on Mayto Beach. With its brilliant sandy beach that seems
to go on and on and on, this three bedroom,
two-bath home, overlooking some of the most pristine waters in
Mexico, accommodates 2-6 people.
One of Mexico's lesser known oceanside havens is for the traveler
looking to unwind in a more private and serene setting, while
experiencing Mexico at its heart.

*Full Kitchen which includes, but is not limited to, stove, refrig.,
dishes, utensils pots/pans, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, etc.
Dining is inside or on the portal overlooking the Pacific.
*Cook, maid, laundry service available for an additional fee.
*There is one queen bed, one double (matrimonial) and a set of twin
beds.

This is a Smoke-Free house.  Smoking is allowed on the portal, but not in the house.  Dispose of all cigarette butts in a trash receptacle; please do not leave them on the ground.

La Casa Jardin is also a Toxic-Free Property.  Under no circumstances utilize insecticides or toxic substances around or inside the property.

 *Groceries and other necessities are readily available in Puerto Vallarta or in El Tuito, a small town about half way between PV and Mayto. 

*Purified water is provided. 

*A vegetable vendor passes through the nearby village of Mayto bi-
weekly.

*There are a number of restaurants and eaterys as close as next door and in the various nearby villages.

*Fresh fish is available ten minutes away in the fishing
village of Tehuamixtle.

*Check in Time is 3:00 p.m./Check out Time is 11:00 a.m.

* There is airport pickup for an additional fee.  For one to four people:  $200.00 usd.  This includes both pickup and return, as well as stopping to pick up supplies, e.g., groceries on the way out of town.

Enterprise Car Rental seems to still be the lowest price of cars offered
near the airport. They charge somewhere between $175.00 and 250.00
for 7 days with all fees included, e.g. collision damage, theft
protection, taxes, surchares, etc., with unlimited mileage.  Regardless do check with other companies as prices are continually changing.

There are buses throughout the day from Puerto Vallarta to El Tuito, but only one a day from El Tuito to Mayto.  The latter usually leaves early afternoon, though occasionally its not running. The actual time changes yearly and with the seasons.  You access it near the El Tuito plaza.  Just ask anyone and be sure to be in El Tuito by 1:00 p.m., so you do not miss it. There is no service on Sunday.

The buses leaving Vallarta to El Tuito throughout the day can be found either at the station on the far end of Vallarta or a much easier access is: the corner of V. Carranza and Aguacate on the south end of Vallarta.

While primarily for those that want to be away from the hustle and
bustle of city life and city vacations, La Casa Jardin de Mayto is
also for the environmentally minded.

The University of Guadalajara has set up a small station, which year-by-year continues to grow, for monitoring and protecting the many turtles that lay their eggs on this long stretch of beach all but 3 months of the year. They guard the nest until the babies hatch and wind their way back to the ocean. It is quite a celebratory pastime to witness.

From iguanas to Pelicans there are many wonderful and varied
creatures to observe in their natural habitat along with an extreme
diversity of plant life.

Swimming, Fishing, Snorkling, LONG Beach Walks, Shell Hunting, are
some of the local activities.
There are also many small villages in the outlying areas where one
can meet locals still living in many of the traditional ways. One of
the better known is the fishing village, Tehuamixtle less than 10
minutes away.

Visitors can rent a guide and his panga, or flat-bottomed boat in
Tehuamixtle (Tehua for short) to catch their own dinner
or enjoy local fisherman's catch of the day, served right on the
beach. Some of the largest Oysters in the world are harvested in
these virtually unpolluted waters and prepared on site.

El Tuito, only an hour away, has festivals for every occasion, shops
and restaurants. Mass is offered daily.
You will have to experience it for yourself to understand the beauty
and wonder of this remote hideaway.

1 nite:   $45.00 per person

2 nites: $90.00 per person

3 nites: $130.00 per person

4 nites: $165.00 per person

5 nites: $195.00 per person

6 nites: $225.00 per person

7 nites: $250.00 per person

***No charge for children up to 4yrs. of age.

***$15.00 a night for children 5yrs thru 11yrs.

***"Adult" rates for children 12yrs and up.

Discounts begin after a two night stay with the price per day lowering each consecutive night up to 7 nights.  If reserving a longer period, the price per night will be the same as the original 7th night amount or $35.71 a night for up to 3 weeks.  Whereas a 4 week stay is your largest discount per day for the entire month! High Season Monthly Rates (A month equals 28 nights or 4 weeks.)

5 or 6 people:  $4,000 usd   (22.00 to 26.00 per person/per night)

CANADIAN GUESTS:  The easiest way for sending your fee is to make a wire transfer utilizing the swift code:  FNBSUS51.  

Summer Rates (May 16, 2013 thru Nov. 14, 2013)

1 night:    $40.00 per person

2 nights:  $75.00 per person

3 nights:  $110.00 per person

4 nights:  $145.00 per person 

5 nights:  $175.00 per person

6 night:    $205.00 per person

7 nights:   $235.00 per person

***No charge for children up to 4yrs. of age.

***$15.00 a night for children 5yrs thru 11yrs.

Discounts begin after a two night stay with the price per day lowering each consecutive night up to 7 nights.  If reserving a longer period, the price per night will be the same as the original 7th night amount or $33.57 a night for up to 3 weeks.  Whereas a 4 week stay is your largest discount of 28 days at $27.50 per day for the entire month! Summer Monthly Rates (A month equals 4 weeks or 28 nights)

2 people:        $1500 usd or 27.50 per person/per night

3 or 4 people:  $1900 usd

5 or 6 people:  $2400 usd

Reservations:

To reserve specific dates @ La Casa Jardin a deposit of half the total fee is required.  The full balance is due 2 months prior to the arrival date.

Making Payments:  

If you are in Mexico, you make a direct deposit into a Lloyds account.  If paying from any other county, you send it to an address in the United State.

For our Canadian guests a reminder that it takes 4 to 6 weeks for money orders to be processed, so now we only accept bank or wire transfers utilizing our routing number, account number and the swift code:  FNBSUS51.  The U.S. bank charge is $10.00 versus 15.00, which you add into your booking rate.  The deposit is immediate.  For more information, please inquire.  Thank you for helping to make the process much more efficient.

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, you will be refunded the entire amount 2 months in advance of your planned arrival date.

Less than 2 months and up until 30 days in advance of your arrival date, you will be refunded half the total amount.  After 30 days there is no refund.

If you prefer to simply change the dates of your reservation versus cancel altogether, please do so no less than 60 days in advance.  Maximum changes up to 3 times within 12 months.
