Vacation Rental Description

This cozy & very clean 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is located on cove on McGrath Pond. It's an ideal 
place for a family with small children, as there is a yard to play in, nice dock and they can just 
walk into the shallow water.  McGrath Pond is known for its fine fishing and water activities.  It 
is 486 acres, 27' deep.  It has an abundance of brown trout, brook trout, largemouth bass, 
smallmouth bass, white perch & pickerel. 
 

Vacation Rental Amenities

This cottage was completed remodeled in 2005.  The cottage has a galley kitchen with dining table,  
2 bedrooms, 1 bath and sleeps 5 -6.  The main bedroom has a queen bed & the other has a set of bunks 
& a twin.  On the enclosed porch is a futon for extra guests.  There is a nice bath with shower 
stall.  On the chilly Maine evenings, there is a wood stove to keep you warm.

Activities and Attractions

The Belgrade Lakes area consists of 7 beautiful lakes.  There is an assortment of water activities 
for you to enjoy; swimming, boating, fishing, tubing, water skiing, kayaking & rafting.

If you're looking for land activities, the village of Belgrade is just a few minutes down the road. 
There are restaurants, shops and Day's Store.  There are two day spas in the area if you're 
looking to get pampered.  Belgrade is also home to the Belgrade Lakes Golf Club - voted in the top 5 
best public courses in the US. 

Hiking - there are several hiking trails in the area.

Berry Picking - fun activity.  There are several farms in the area 
that allow strawberry, blueberry & raspberry picking.

Maine County Fairs - summer is the time for the Maine county fairs.  
Your chance to see livestock, enjoy the midway rides and just have 
fun. 

Day Trips - 45 minutes to Freeport shopping and home to LL Bean.
            1 hr to the coast 
            
Golfing - there are several courses in the area.  Belgrade Lakes 
Golf Club was voted in top 5 best public courses in the US.

On rainy days, Augusta (30 min)has the Maine State Museum & Old Fort 
Western.  Waterville (15 min) is home to the Colby College Museum of 
Art and the Waterville Opera House.

Vacation Rental Rates

Weekly rentals May - October
Checkin:  Saturday 2-5 pm
Checkout:  Saturday 10 am PROMPTLY

Rates range from $800.00 per week 

$35.00 Non-Refundable Reservation Fee & $40.00 Peace of Mind Damage Waiver Fee (for accidental 
damage to $300)are added to rental rate.
7% Maine Lodging Tax is applied to rental rate. 
50% deposit and signed Guest Rental Agreement required to confirm reservation.
Balance due 45 days prior to arrival.

Linens:  Blankets & pillow provided.  Bring your own sheets & towels.
