Vacation Rental Description

Peaceful!  Private! Secluded!  Waterfront cottage located in Trenton 
with spectacular views of Acadia National Park, Cadillac Mountain 
and Alley’s Island.  This spacious knotty pine cottage has an airy 
feeling featuring cathedral ceilings, lots of windows, fully equipped
kitchen, open dining & living area, master first floor bedroom with 
full bath and two bedrooms upstairs with full bath.  The living area 
has a sleep sofa for add’l sleeping space.  Enjoy watching the 
seals, ospreys, and bald eagles feed on the fish from Goose Cove 
from the large mahogany deck.  For a closer look stairs take you 
down to enjoy the tidal shoreline.  Such a private location yet 
minutes away from Mt. Desert Island with only a 15 minute drive to 
downtown Bar Harbor and downtown Ellsworth.   Small pet possible.

Vacation Rental Amenities

Three bedrooms, master bedroom on first floor with full bath, second 
floor features two bedrooms,1 with twin beds and 1 with full size 
bed, also full bath.  Living room features a sleep sofa for add'l 
sleeping space. 
Well equipped kitchen would make any gourmet cook feel at home 
(oversized stove, dishwasher, microwave, Cuisnart food processor, 
mixer, blender, toaster, coffee maker & grinder, large Lobster pot 
and large gas grill on back deck).  Well stocked shelves have many 
sauces, spices,oils and all the necessary ingredients to make that 
home cooked meal.
A separate laundry room with full size washer & dryer. Bed linens 
and bath towels included.
A large woodstove with air circulator will take the chill off the 
mornings or evenings if necessary.  Seasoned wood pile on site.
A large mahogany waterfront deck equipped with several chaise 
lounges, chairs and tables. Satellite TV, VCR, DVD, stereo system, 
and an extensive library of books & games.
Weekly garbage pickup.

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy the wildlife right outside your door!  Watch the seals, 
ospreys, and bald eagles feed on the fish from Goose Cove. Take the 
steps down to the water to explore the coastline. Canoe & kayak 
rentals nearby. 
If you can drag yourself away from the beautiful view, the cottage 
is minutes from Mt. Desert Island, 15 minutes from the entrance to 
Acadia National Park, and 20 minutes from the shops and restaurants 
located in downtown Bar Harbor. The Nat'l Park offers something for 
everyone.  Enjoy hiking, biking, walking, kayaking, canoeing, 
swimming, or just driving through the park.  Stop by Jordan Pond 
House for afternoon popovers & tea on the lawn.
The cottage is located just 15 minutes from downtown Ellsworth. 
Ellsworth features two large grocery stores, cinemas, gift shops 
including The Grasshopper Shop and LL Bean, and many antique shops. 
Restaurants incl. Union River Lobster Pot,Riverside Cafe, and The 
Mex along with several others. Bar Harbor public golf course, mini 
golf & water slide park are just up the road from the cottage.

May 27 thru July 1 - $1600/week or $3100/2 weeks
July 1 thru July 29 -$1950/week or $3800/2 weeks
July 29 thru Sept 30 -$2100/week or $4000/2 weeks


$300 Security & $100 phone deposit required
7% Maine Lodging Tax applicable
