15 minute drive with both
ocean and bay side beaches (a bit more private than south beach),
Bill baggs State park, Crandon
State park, fishing charter boats, dive boats, kite boarding,
parasailing, waverunner and
boatrentals, plane tours, golf at one of the PGA's former tour sites
in Crandon park, and tennis.
The upper keys are about 45 minutes away where you can swim with the
dolphins, fish, dive, snorkle,
etc.
