Vacation Rental Description

Brand new in 2008. One of the prettiest homes in the Grove. Wonderful, open, architectural  
floor plan with 5 different levels allows the outdoors in while creating dramatic and distinct  
spaces throughout the house. The large living room has 20 ft high ceilings, walls of glass doors  
opening to a large outdoor terrace and BBQ grill, a fireplace, large wet bar with  
refrigerator/icemaker, wine cooler. The family room includes a recessed 50" LCD TV, additional wet  
bar with refrigerator/icemaker, and new leather sectional. The large kitchen is fully equipped with  
new stainless steel applicances, granite countertops, coffee maker, toaster, blender, waffle iron,  
utensils & stainless steel cookware. The main house also includes a seperate study with access to a  
covered terrace overlooking the pool. The master bath includes a true rain shower system with body  
sprays and a whirlpool tub all tiled with grain matched onyx (one of a kind), his and her sinks,  
seperate toilet room, and private access to the pool. Off the master, is a large sitting room  
overlooking the living room with large architectural windows putting you in the tree tops. The guest  
house, connected by a bridge over the pool, includes a bedroom and bath all finished in marble. A  
spiral staircase takes you down to the pool level with a small kitchenette including a refrigerator,  
microwave, etc. The property has a lush tropical landscape including several varieties of bamboo,  
palms, tropical flowering plants, orchids,and bromeliads. A large lagoon pool, with grotto and  
waterfall, winds through the landscape.  High-speed internet, cable, and phone are provided. Off  
street parking available for up to 7 cars. Up to four cars can be parked in the carport which has  
a driveway at either end. The two entrances allow you to drive right into and under the house and  
out the other side. The carport has three private entrances (one to the kitchen and two to the lower  
level). 

Activities and Attractions

Excellent central location. Walk to downtown coconut grove restraunts and nightlife, biscayne bay  
parks (Kennedy and peacock), and waterfront restraunts (Chart house, Monty's, Scotty's). South Miami  
beach is an easy 15-20 minute drive. Keys Virginia and Biscayne are a 5-15 minute drive with both  
ocean and bay side beaches (a bit more private than south beach), Bill baggs State park, Crandon  
State park, fishing charter boats, dive boats, kite boarding, parasailing, waverunner and  
boatrentals, plane tours, golf at one of the PGA's former tour sites in Crandon park, and tennis.  
The upper keys are about 45 minutes away where you can swim with the dolphins, fish, dive, snorkle,  
etc.
