vacation rental description
Open year round for all of our friends from around the world. This adorable one bedroom 'Love Shack', is only 50 feet from the tranquil water's edge. Surrounded by arching Maple trees, fragrant Pine trees, Theresa's lovely gardens and bird houses. (Private Beach,satellite TV, AC)the cottage has a full kitchen with slider leading to a very large deck. It comes complete with a gas grill and wood burning fireplace. A signature light house is located on Buster's Point.The cottage is buffeted by cooling breezes coming off Great Herring Pond (390 acres). Our beach, beach chairs, canoes, kyak, row boat, and paddle boat await you. The water is spectacular on Mass's 3 rd largest body of water. At night enjoy the fireplace by the pond and watch the gorgeous sunsets unfold. If you're lucky enough to be here during a 'full moon,' remember the lyrics of 'Moon River.'

Most recently from Ottawa: "We have thoroughly enjoyed our time in Cape Cod, in one week we have learned much about the Cape, but not seen enough-so we'll be back for sure! What a beautiful place-beaches, the ocean, the gorgeous small towns are much a treat!"

The cottage is completely stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware. Queen size bed (with linens) soft chairs, bar stools, gas grill, air conditioning. Large TV and Direct TV. Located on Great Herring Pond (3 miles long, 1/2 mile wide) it is a haven for boaters, swimmers, and fishermen. Golfers will find 12 courses within 10 minutes drive: Waverly Oaks, Pine Hills (2), Atlantic, White Cliffs, Sandwich Hollows, Bay Pointe, Crosswinds, Falmouth CC and Squirrel Run, Holly Ridge(par 3's) to name a few. Whale Watching (2)are nearby. The Christmas Tree Shop is minutes away (1 1/2 mi.).

Located one mile from the Ocean (Scusset State
Beach and Ellisville State Park)and the Cape Cod Canal (Great for walking, hiking, fishing, rollerblading, running, and biking,) you are in a central
location (South Plymouth, Cedarville (Exit 2, Route 3): We are in the perfect 'Hub' to all points of destination.) between Boston (40 minutes),Providence (60 minutes) and Provincetown (65 minutes). Shoppers are delighted to be only one and 1/2 miles from the Christmas Tree Shop in Sandwich. The Kingston, Falmouth and Hyannis Malls are only 20 minutes away. Historic down town Plymouth, Plimoth Plantation, Heritage Plantationin Sandwich are but ten minutes from the house. There are a half a dozen restaraunts within five miles. (Including 'Daniel Websters, Hemispheres, The Aqua Grill, Isaacs, 2 Boston Beer Clubs, Ma Ma Mias, Weathervane, Mezza Luna The Cabby Shack etc.) Shaws Groceries, 2 Liquor stores, 2 ATM machines are only 1 mile. Whale Watches and ferry rides to Provincetown are 10 minutes away, ferry rides to the the Vineyard and Nantucket are 20 minutes away from either Hyannis or Falmouth, and ride through the Canal from Onset910 min) on the Viking.
Typically on July 3, 4, 5th the pond is treated to magnificent fireworks around the perimeter of Great Herring Pond. There are at least eight different launching sites.
Enjoy the Cape Cod Baseball League, free of charge(Bourne Braves) just three miles away in the evening (Wareham Gatemen 15 minutes). Play golf on one of the many courses (10 within a 10 minute drive) Many of our guests just 'hit the beach.' (Scusset)

$700.00 per week for the 2010 season.
We rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday during the summer season .
During the rest of the year we prefer to rent for a 3 day minimum on long weekends(Look for our deals), but weekends are fine too or just come for a week. Check in time is at 2:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m.
After Labor Day be on the look for our SPECIALS we run. Sunset Cove is open year round. Everyone loves the 'Love Shack'.
One half the $ amount is due as a deposit to hold your reservation. Your personal check is fine. Cash or money order is due upon arrival for the balance due.
