Vacation Rental Description

    This adorable one bedroom 'Love Shack', is 50 feet from the tranquil  
water's edge, surrounded by arching Maple trees,fragrant Pine  
trees and Theresa's lovely gardens. (Private Beach,TV, AC)The cottage has a full kitchen  
with slider leading to a very large deck, with a gas grill, wood burning fireplace and  
cooling breezes on Great Herring Pond (410 acres). Our beach, beach chairs,dock,canoes,kyak 
and paddle boat await you or just relax on the private beach.  The water is spectacular on Mass's 3  
rd largest body of water. 
     At night enjoy the fireplace by the pond and watch the gorgeous sunsets  
unfold.   If you're lucky enough to be here during a 'full moon,'  
remember the lyrics of 'Moon River.'  
    To quote a gentleman who stayed here, "I have never seen a home where you can see the water out  
of every window! What a beautiful place."  
    A lady who stayed here said, "We thoroughly enjoyed the view from the deck-it was pleasant from  
early morning till late at night. Your flowers are beautiful, this was truly a 'home away from  
home.'" 

Vacation Rental Amenities

     The cottage is completely stocked with cooking utensils and dinnerware.  
Queen size bed, soft chairs, bar stools, gas grill, air conditioning.  
  Located on Great Herring Pond (3 miles long, 1/2 mile wide) it  
is a haven for boaters, swimmers, and fishermen. Golfers will find 12  
courses within 15 minutes drive: Waverly Oaks, Pine Hills (2),  
Atlantic, White Cliffs,Sandwich Hollows, Bay Pointe, Crosswinds and Squirrel Run  
(par 3) to name a few. Whale Watching (2)are nearby. The Christmas Tree Shop is minutes  
away (1 1/2 mi.).       
    

Activities and Attractions

   Located one mile and a half miles from the Ocean (Scusset State  
Beach and Ellisville State Park)and the Cape Cod Canal (Great for fishing, rollerblading,  
walking, running, jogging and biking,) you are in a central  
location (South Plymouth, Cedarville,  We are in the perfect 'Hub' to most points of destination.)  
between Boston (40 minutes),Providence (60 minutes) and Provincetown (65 minutes). Shoppers are  
delighted to be only two miles from the Christmas Tree Shop. The Kingston Mall, Falmouth and Hyannis  
Malls are only 20 minutes away.Historic down town Plymouth, Plimoth Plantation, Heritage Plantation  
are ten minutes from the house.  There are a half a dozen restaraunts within five miles. Groceries,2  
Liquor stores, ATM machines are only 1 mile.  Whale Watches and ferry rides to Provincetown are 10  
minutes away.  Ferry rides to the the Vineyard and Nantucket are 15 minutes away. 
    Enjoy the Cape Cod Baseball League (Bourne Braves)just three miles away  
in the evening after playing golf on one of the many courses in the area.  

Vacation Rental Rates

$750.00 per week for the 2009 season.   We  
rent weekly from Saturday to Saturday.  Check  
in time is at 2:00 p.m. and check out is 11:00 a.m. 
Pet Charge: $50. 
 One half the $ amount is due as a deposit. Your personal 
check is fine. Cash or money order is due upon arrival for  
the balance due.
