The screened porch, living room, dining area, and master bed all
have views of the Low Country marsh. This Ranch home is bright and
cheery with three skylights in vaulted ceilings. It offers a huge
screen porch (with ceiling fan) and large sunning deck area. The
home was custom built by Hilton-Head builder Randy Ransom in
the ‘90s. with:
1) a stained-wood package around the Andersen tinted windows and
sliding glass doors.
2) the room doors through-out are solid wood and quiet.
3) A six foot steeping tub is in the hall bath.
4) Hunter ceiling fans throughout, Cenral vacuum.
5) Kit provides two built-in wall ovens + microwave, trash
compactor,
double sinks, and plenty of storage etc.
The Layout is a split-bedroom plan with the master at the south end
(with a king-size bed, private bath, TV and walk-in closet) and the
other two bedrooms are at the north end (one has a queen & one has
twin beds). There’s also two built-in desk areas for those
who ‘bring’
work. Off the kitchen is a combination eat-in area/family room area
with sliding glass doors to the screen porch. At the center of the
house is the Great room leading to the deck and the screen porch. An
outside staircase also accesses the screened porch with
low, "ramplike" steps for those with knee problems. On the first
level at the rear of the three-car garage area - is a game room,
with a picture window filled with a couch, a table with six chairs,
a Fooz-ball table and an air hockey game. A refrigerator sits
outside this room and there’s a utility sink plus a door to the
under porch area housing the enclosed shower. For
parking - there is a 2 car side-entry garage with a turn around
area, and a long split driveway. We suggest you unload supplies at
this side entrance, then park vehicles in the front circular drive
because it facilitates getting in & out with the golf cart & bikes.
Enjoy three-and-a-half miles of pristine beach, wildlife
sanctuaries, bike paths, nature walks, and two nature centers. Open
to all Island guests is our brand new Davis Love Park with swings
and the Captain John Fripp 'Pirate' boat, plus basketball and
volleyball courts with a picnic cabana. There is also a convenient
nearby new playground area right off Fiddlers Trace Road. A covered
pavilion crabbing dock is located on the end of Fiddlers Ridge Rd.
While you are on Fripp, you are sure to see deer, raccoons,
alligators, dolphins, osprey, herons, (a bird watchers paradise)
