Great Location-Swimming, Boating Golf, Hot Tub in Traverse City

This is a most popular cottage because of its location just 5 minutes from downtown Traverse City and its festivities and attractions and proximity to golf.  This cottage, named "Caddyshack" has three bedrooms with 3 queens and one king bed with an additional king aerobed which splits apart to make two twins.  All amenities are included:  fully equipped kitchen, extended cable TV/DVD player/DVD library, hot tub, gas grill and large yard for playing.  The lake access is private to only a few homes and is just steps away from the house across a dead-end road that is not busy.  The swimming and beach at this site are wonderful as no motorboats are permitted in this area of the lake and the beach is great for small toddlers to play in. 

You can bring your jet skis or boat up (or have one delivered) but you need to launch at the DNR boat launch just 1/2 mile south from Caddyshack and bring the boat back to the second driveway at the cottage each day.

After golfing, shopping or enjoying swimming, come back to the cottage at the end of the day and enjoy a dip in the private hot tub in the rear of the property.  The wraparound lakeview porch affords great conversations with your family and friends and enjoying the warm sunny days at Traverse City.

There are over 27 golf courses in the area, over 18 wineries, and dozens of wonderful dining and nighttime hot spots.  There are so many festivals in the area during the summer that there is always something to do for everyone in the family.  Cherry Festival in July is our most popular, drawing thousands of people to Traverse City for concerts, shopping, midway rides, craft festivals, and all kinds of cherry product food, wine and other treats.  The local fine arts and jazz festivals are also extremely popular as well as are winery tours throughout Leelanau and Old Mission peninsula.

"Caddyshack" is such a great location just 5 minutes from all the
activities in downtown Traverse City, with sandy beach for the
children to enjoy; we have 3 private bedrooms, one with king, second
with a queen, and the third with two queens. In addition we have a
king aerobed that can be separated into two twins. Two roomy
bathrooms, one with a walk-in huge shower. Lakeview wraparound deck
gives you plenty of space for the family to sit and enjoy each other's
company - chaise lounges included as well. Cable TV, DVD and DVD
library.
Wonderful place to spend spring and fall weekends for discount
golfing, enjoying the
wineries or just gathering to get away for the weekend.

The writeups we have received from families with small children
indicate they love this place, and they come back often. They love
the sandy beach for the kids to swim in, the access to which is right
across a small dead end street in front of the house; the beach is
only about 75 yards from your front door. Boats cannot intrude into
this swimming area so your children will have fun in the clear
sandy-bottom lake. The home is about 1/2 mile from the DNR boat
launch site for Silver Lake, a 600-acre all sports lake. Family
members will be very excited about the convenience of this cottage - 5
minutes from downtown where you can enjoy all that Traverse City has
to offer. Pubs and some of the finest restaurants in Michigan; mall
shopping or our very unique boutique shops in the historic downtown
district.

Golf at one of over 27 golf courses in the area or take winery trips
to over 18 wineries. Cinemas, waterparks, Tall ship and catamaran
rides, jet skiing and parasailing; all too much to take in during a
week's vacation. During the spring and fall months, enjoy the
hundreds of miles of breathtaking bike trails throughout the area and
during the winter months, ski at Crystal Mountain Ski Resort, or any
number of other ski locations; cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and
tubing are also available.

Caddyshack is immaculately maintained with all the amenities you would
expect. Towels, linens, full kitchen, extended cable TV, DVD (with DVD
library), books, games and, at the end of the day, a great hot tub to
enjoy.

Stay for a weekend getaway with the girls for shopping or just
relaxing. Great for fishing and golfing weekends as well.

Rates are:
SPECIAL AUG REMAINING WKS - $900, SEPT 600/WEEK. $1450/week June through August 2010.  CALL/EMAIL FOR SHORTER STAY.

$800/week for all other weeks.
$350/2 night-3 day weekend off season.
Michigan tax additional as well as refundable $100 cleaning/damage
fee.

$350 deposit for weekly rentals.
$200 deposit for weekends.
60 day cancellation. If cancelled, deposit returned less credit card
fees incurred by owner.

Credit/bank cards only accepted. Rental Agreement must be signed.
