This well appointed period residence is situated within walking
distance of both
Galway city centre and Salthill promenade, yet enjoys the enviable
seclusion of private grounds set back from the main road. A fine
example of a turn of the century period home, the décor is elegant
and warm with high ceilings, splendid colours, open fireplaces and
wooden floors, creating an inviting and comfortable interior,
coupled with all modern conveniences. There are four bedrooms
ensuite, three with private bath and shower and one with private
shower.


This self-catering residence has a 4 Star rating from the Irish
Tourist Board and is a non-smoking house.

Ground Floor:

Entrance Hall with feature staircase. Bay windowed lounge with open
fireplace, study with open fireplace, large dining room with French
doors leading onto private patio and seating area. Breakfast room
with large open fireplace leading into fully equipped kitchen, WC,
laundry room. Rear door leading to private courtyard and seating
area.

First Floor:

Three tastefully decorated spacious double bedrooms. Master bedroom
with private bathroom including separate shower stall,walk in
wardrobe,large double bed. South facing double room, with double bed
and shower room en suite. Twin bedded room also facing south with
private bath with shower. Power showers are fitted in all en suites.

Second Floor:

Spacious, penthouse double bedroom with views across Galway City
includes double bed, private bathroom with shower also includes walk
in wardrobe.

Cable TV, washing machine, separate dryer, microwave oven,
dishwasher, hair dryer in every bedroom, oil fired central heating
throughout, private parking, direct dial telephone.

Galway City; St. Annes is within walking distance to the centre of a
dynamic and friendly Galway City, famous for its arts, culture, and
musical heritage. Specialist shops ,restuarants, pubs (with
traditional music) and theatres abound. It also has many art and
sculpture exhibitions.

Some of the historic and regional attractions. * The Burren : A
unique limestone plateau consisting of many Iron and Stone age
monuments. This area is especially beautiful in spring with its
abundant rare wild flowers. * The Cliffs of Moher : Consist of some
of the most dramitic coastal scenery in Ireland, rising impressively
to a height of 700ft and stretching over a distance of approximately
5 miles. * Aliwee caves : Discovered in the 1940's and reputed to be
over 2 million years old. * The Aran Islands : Are a blend of modern
and traditional living and have a rich history of prehistoric and
Christian monuments. * Connemara : This area is endowed with
beautiful and varied scenery. Majestic mountains rise steeply from
an earth of contrasting rock and boglands with many lakes and
rivers. This landscape is an artist's paradise with its ever
changing light.

Jnr. * Connemara Golf Club Ballyconneely, Clifden, Co.Galway. This
is a sand based links with its back nine described as the equal of
anywhere in the world. Athenry Golf Club, Oranmore, Co. Galway. This
course is generally uncrowded making it a very pleasant course to
golf on.
