Vacation Rental Description

Relax in the private pool and spa, then make yourself at home in our
3-bedroom mission-style desert casa (house).  Just remodeled and
redecorated for your pleasure and comfort.  Sleeps 6 adults.

Rest peacefully in the king, queen and twin beds in spacious bedrooms,
grill and eat on the patio with beautiful sunset views, visit London
Bridge and Lake Havasu only minutes away or take the kids to the park
around the corner.  

Everything in our house is new, tastefully decorated in the
southwest style.  Bougainvillea and iron gates admit you to the
traditional Spanish “patio” complete with bubbling fountain.  

Our central location, close to London Bridge, downtown, grocery
shopping, boating, hiking, restaurants, makes this the ideal choice
for your Havasu stay.  Our pool catches the sun all day, and the
heated, in-ground spa feels wonderful on cool winter nights.  

Enjoy a ferry ride across the lake to the casino, take a jet boat tour
or a romantic ride in the Venetian gondola, listen to the sax player
under London Bridge . . . or just float on the pool with an iced tea
and a good book.  

If you have to stay connected, we have a high-speed wireless internet
connection and a cable modem.  

The kitchen’s just the right size for a vacation; plenty of room to
cook a gourmet meal or just fix sandwiches.  

Our landscaping includes several varieties of palms and citrus trees
along with the bougainvillea at the front door.  

You won’t want to leave, but when you do, you’ll be refreshed and
relaxed, and ready to stay again soon!  

Vacation Rental Amenities

Since this is our vacation destination too, we furnished the house
with comfortable beds in every room.  No scrimping on the most
important part of your vacation - rest and relaxation.

The private pool, walled yard, and in-ground spa provide you with a
super-private retreat.  The pool is actively solar heated, so once the
weather reaches 85 degrees in the daytime the pool water is warm and
comfy.  We keep a supply of inflatables for use on the pool, since
floating on the pool is our own favorite form of relaxation in Lake
Havasu.  

The enclosed traditional Spanish patio at the entrance of the house
includes a bubbling fountain and furniture ideal for sipping coffee
and starting your day in luxury. 

You'll enjoy the art and other southwest decor including buckskin,
pottery, sheepskin throws, Mexican mirrors, and southwest crafts.

We've supplied the home with some of our favorite reading and games. 
When we're in Havasu we don't spend much time indoors, so feel free to
take the games and books to the patio.  

We gave careful attention to furnishing the outdoors; the furniture in
the pergola is well-padded. Recline on the two poolside beach lounge
chairs with corresonding tables for your drink, book or magazine, and
sun screen.  There's a bistro set (two chairs and a small table) in
the sun just outside the covered patio, and of course the patio set
itself - a glass table that seats six.  The front patio has a glider,
two rockers and two tables along with the fountain, and tropical
plants to charm your senses (gardinia, palms, bird of paradise, ferns 
and jasmine). 

The master bedroom includes a walk-in closet and private bath.  The
remaining bedrooms have plenty of closet space too.  And sliding doors 
to the patio...

The kitchen has tile countertops, new appliances, and is completely
outfitted iincluding a well-stocked spice rack.  If you're staying a
while, minimize your trips to the grocery by filling the pantry with
your favorite foods.  I also supplied my favorite cook books.

Other amenities include boat parking, double garage, fresh citris
fruit in season, and a beautiful fountain in the front patio.  

Activities and Attractions

There’s Plenty to Do . .. . Or Nothing to Do . . .

You choose.  Our central location close to downtown, grocery stores,
shopping, restaurants, and of course London Bridge and Lake Havasu,
makes Sun and Water the ideal choice for your Havasu stay.  Our pool
catches the sun all day, and the heated, in-ground spa feels wonderful
on cool winter nights.

•Bring your boat and cruise the lake or rent a watercraft of your  choice
•Take a long or short hike at the nearby state parks or enjoy a
 picnic lunch by the lake
•Bass fish for trophy striped bass and a variety of other sport  species
•Play golf at the 36-hole pubic course a half mile from our front door
•Take the kids to the community park around the corner
•Drive quads, motorcycles, dune buggies on the nearby hills
•Hunt for gold (using metal detectors)
•Take a ferry ride to the casino across the lake and gamble (or just
 to enjoy the ride) 
•Study the flowering desert
•Book a desert tour or escorted fishing trip
•Or, just take a short walk for an ice cream or shaved Hawaiian ice
•Personally, we prefer floating on the pool with a cold iced-tea and
 a good book between naps.

Vacation Rental Rates

$160/night week-day nights.
$170/night week-end nights.
Holiday and Havasu event rates, please inquire.
$2500/month winter; $3100/month summer
$10/night extra for each person in party over 4, maximum 6 adults.
$500 deposit (plus $50 for each person in party over 4).
$100 non-refundable cleaning fee.
