Vacation Rental Description

Three story house across from Channel Islands Harbor, and thirty 
second walk to beautiful Hollywood Beach.  A/A rated beach. Great 
place to get away from the city - quiet and private.  House has 
unique panoramic views of ocean, harbor, and mountains.  Third floor 
is master suite with king sized bed, fireplace, queen pull out sofa, 
cable modem, tv with dvd player, walk-in closet, deck with sitting 
area and views of ocean, oversized jacuzzi tub, and double 
shower. Second floor is combination living/dining room and kitchen.  
Living room has pull out queen sofa and fireplace.  Kitchen has  
dishwasher and is fully equipped.  There is a deck next to the 
kitchen so you can eat and watch the boats.  There is a bedroom on 
the second floor with a queen sized bed and bathroom with a shower 
stall.  The first floor has two bedrooms.  One has bunkbeds, and a 
built in desk and shelves. The other has a daybed with a trundle, a 
small refrigerator, sink and microwave.  It also has its own 
additional locked entrance (as well as being accessible from the 
house). This room can be locked off. The bath on the first floor is 
included only if all the bedrooms are rented.  There is a one car 
garage with washer/dryer. There is also an outdoor shower.
Parking is available also on the street. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

cable modem, cable tv, 2 dvd and 3 vhs players, cd player, charcoal 
bbq, fully furnished kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, trash
compactor,etc), beach chairs, boogie boards, games, videos.  House 
is not baby-proofed and may not be appropriate for active, 
adventurous toddlers.

Activities and Attractions

The house is just 60 steps from one of the most beautiful, deepest 
beaches in southern California. On clear days there are beautiful 
views of the nearby Channel Islands.  Bring your binoculars to watch 
for whales, seals, and dolphins. Surfing and boogie boarding are 
popular.  Take walks on the beach and collect shells. There are boat 
rentals available nearby which have electric boats, kayaks and 
peddle boats. There are whale watching excursions and tours of the 
Channel Islands.  There are outdoor concerts across the Harbor and a 
Farmer's market every Sunday. Miniature golf, restaurants, and 
shopping very nearby.

12/19/08-1/6/09: 
     $450 weekend or holiday night, $375 other nights, $2400/week
5/30/08-6/08/08: 
     $425/Fri,Sat $375/Sun-Thurs $2350/week  
1/7/09-4/3/09,4/25/08-5/29/08 ( excludes Memorial Day which is $450/night): 
    $400/Fri,Sat $325/Sun-Thurs  $2100/week $4750/month
6/09/08-9/1/08:      $500/Fri,Sat $425/Sun-Thurs  $2700/week
Usually rents Monday to Monday in summer. (June15-Labor day)
Weekends in summer cannot be booked more than 4 weeks ahead.
One bed and bath can be locked off for lower rate 
$200 cleaning fee, $300 for more than one week
$500 minimum refundable security deposit-more if stay is longer or 
bringing pet
$3000 for July 4 week, 2009
$25/person/day  or $100/week fee above 9 guests, $25/person/day or $100/week discount under 6 
guests
