Surrounded by acres of forest yet, only a few miles from everything. This is truly a place to get back to nature yet close enough to enjoy city life.

Newly built two story cottage in Canterbury, New Hampshire. Located down one of the original dirt roads surrounding the Historical Canterbury Shaker Village, offering a wide variety of activities for all seasons.

Four (4) bedrooms, sleeps 9-10 comfortably.  The home has a full front porch which looks out onto a pond.  French doors off the kitchen eating area open to a side porch.  Large maintained yard surrounding the home.

Enter the mud room from the ground floor which has a wood burning furnace used to heat the home in the winter time. Mud room opens to a finished basement.  The finished basement has 3 couches for relaxing and watching movies on the wide screen television.  Basement also has a bedroom with twin sized bed plus bunk beds.  Washer and dryer are located in the basement.

The first floor has a living room, complete modern kitchen with eating area, one large bedroom with a queen sized bed, bathroom with a stall shower.  Front door opens to a full porch with seating and view of the pond.

Second floor has two bedrooms and a full bathroom with a bathtub. One bedroom with a full sized bed, the other with four (4) twin/single beds.

Towels, linens, blankets and pillows are provided.  Blankets are one size bigger than the bed size and are down alternative with duvet covers.
Full modern kitchen with refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, trash compactor, toaster oven, and coffee maker.  Basic condiments are supplied.
Pots, pans, plates, cooking and eating utensils provided.
Full front porch and half side porch.
Outdoor grill, picnic table, lounge chairs and outdoor seating with copper fire pit.
Widescreen television provided for VCR or DVD use only. Upstairs television, with built in VCR, receives local stations only. Choose from our list of classic and current movies, over 1000 to pick from!
Stereo system for listening to CD's or AM/FM radio.
Finished basement to relax and watch a movie.
Books, games, and puzzles for all to enjoy!
Pamphlets and brochures are provided for information on places to go, things to see, and attractions in New Hampshire.
Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board.
All first and second floor rooms have ceiling fans. Basement stays naturally cool during summer.
Home has gas heat and wood-burning furnace. Wood is provided and home stays a toasty 70-75 degrees with filling of the stove 2 times a day.
No phone, internet, or cable service provided.
Non-smoking.
No pets.

We are conveniently located a short walk from Fox Country Smoke House and a few miles from NH Motor Speedway and the historic Canterbury Shaker Village.  We are approximately an hour drive to Boston.

Easy access to main trail open for seasonal recreational activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, or for just taking a peaceful walk in the woods.

During winter, visit one of the many nearby ski resorts to experience the thrill of New England skiing. A short drive will take you to beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee and Weirs beach which is breathtaking in winter and during summer offers swimming, boating and fun for everyone!

Stroll Tanger Outlet Center in nearby Tilton, which features over 50 brand name manufacturer and designer outlet stores. Or head the other direction into our States Capital, Concord, and visit the Steeplegate Mall, Fort Eddy Road Plaza or Storrs Street for all of your shopping needs. After a busy day, enjoy fine dining and a show right in Concord.

Many exciting activities nearby including Canterbury Shaker Village, NH Motor Speedway events, Arts & Craft fairs, pick your own farms and fruit orchards, (depending on season), festivals, antiquing, fall foliage, golf, miniature golf, swimming, fishing, boating, etc.

Plus $300.00 fully refundable Security/Damage Fee.  Security/Damage Fee is returned within two weeks after check out date.

We require a three (3) night minimum stay during the following events: NASCAR and Bike Week.

We accept cash, check, money order, or cashier check. A deposit of 50% of the Total Amount Due is required and will confirm your booking. Balance must be paid in full 30 days (60 days international) prior to arrival date.

The Property will not be rented to vacationing students or singles under the age of 25, unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent who remains on the property for the duration of the stay. Reservations made under false pretenses will be subject to forfeiture of all monies paid.  Proof of age may be required.
