Welcome to Little Beach House

Our charming one-bedroom (plus loft) home is located on the Park 
side of Rosemary Beach at 49 Hamilton Lane. 

Featured in the Summer 2007 issue of "Southern Tour Magazine" and in 
Richard Sexton's new book "Rosemary Beach".

At just over 1,040 square feet, Little Beach House is a cozy 
getaway, created for our family of three, but a wonderful retreat 
for couples, small families and of course, newlyweds. Our very first 
guests were honeymooners! 

There are many large estates with carriage houses in Rosemary Beach. 
But, please don't confuse our home with a carriage house. Little 
Beach House is a lovely cottage home on its own private lot. During 
construction, some of our neighbors asked us when we were going to 
build the "main" house. We just smiled, knowing that our small gem 
would be a unique addition to the architecture of this special town. 

The idea for our home was to create a small oasis set in the jewel 
of Florida's panhandle, Rosemary Beach. We hope you'll agree that 
great things come in small packages. 

Designed by famed new urbanism architect Geoffrey Mouen 
(Celebration, Florida), with details for exterior and interiors by 
owner-architect Floyd McCollum (Celebration, Florida), Little Beach 
House was inspired by the small, waterfront properties of the West 
Indies in the Caribbean. Smooth, white plaster walls keep the high-
ceilinged spaces cool and clean. Hardwood ceilings and floors add 
warmth and depth to the spaces. Every detail is well-thought out for 
optimal function and elegant form. 

Vacation Rental Amenities

Our Features Include: 
* High speed cable internet
* The main floor includes open living and dining areas, with a 
comfy queen sleeper sofa available for kids or guests.
* Living area has a color television with cable, DVD player and VCR 
all-in-one. You'll find some DVD's, VHS tapes and movies tucked in 
the entertainment cabinet drawer for your viewing pleasure. The DVD 
plays your CD's as well. 
* The cozy, fully-tricked-out kitchen is fully equipped with 
dishwasher, microwave, oven, fridge and freezer with icemaker. 
Custom built, dramatic spiral staircase leads up to the master 
bedroom. 
* Master suite includes a pencil post king-sized bed, dressed in 
Egyptian cotton sheets, of course! 
* The third floor loft overlooks the master bedroom. Trundle twin-
sized daybed and an entertainment center create a great spot for 
relaxing after a fun-filled day at the beach. The alternating-tread 
stair is a unique and fun detail you probably have never seen or 
walked up before. 
* A large back deck with inviting patio furniture including 
loungers, and a dining table and chairs with oversized sun umbrella. 
Garden walls surround the private space. Morning shade provides the 
patio with a great space for an outdoor breakfast. 
* No need to rent bicycles! You can use ours! They are kept in our 
outdoor owner's closet, along with the barbecue grill, beach chairs 
and the beach umbrella. Just lock 'em up when you travel or are 
finished your tour of Rosemary Beach. Seaside is about eight miles 
west on route 30-A, and makes a nice daytrip on the bikes. 
* Two car parking is available behind our large backyard deck. 
Nintendo 64 player and television with DVD for your viewing pleasure 
are in the loft 
* Outdoor shower above the back door will help you wash away the 
sand from your feet. 
* A dishwasher, washer and dryer are on the premises for your 
private use. 
* Much of the furniture in Little Beach House was created 
especially for our home
* Little Beach House is just steps away from the St. Augustine 
Park, with a fun water play fountain for the kids. Okay, I have to 
admit, I've jumped in there, too. 
* Small dogs welcome for an additional fee, please contact for details.

We are located at the end of West Kingston Park, a beautifully 
manicured green-space with restful fountain and shaded benches.

Activities and Attractions

Beach, heated indoor pool plus three outdoor pools in community, 
tennis courts, basketball, nature trail, kayaking, fitness center, 
spa, downtown shops, restaurants, bicycling (free use of two adult 
bicycles during your stay) and lots more!

Vacation Rental Rates

Winter $1070 week, $170 night (three night minimum requested)
Spring & Fall $1,280 week $200 night (three night minimum requested)
Summer & Spring Break $1,595 week $250 night (three night minimum 
requested)

"Winter" is Nov 1 - Feb 28
"Spring & Fall" is Mar 1 - May 23 (except "Spring Break") and Sep 4 -
 Oct 31
"Summer" is May 24 - Sep 3
"Spring Break" season is Mar 10 - Apr 15

Our rates always include Florida sales tax and Walton County "bed" 
tax, cleaning fee, and use of two adult bicycles. Well-behaved, 
housebroken dogs are welcome for a small additional fee.
