Activities and Attractions

Kapalua is Hawaii’s premier resort. Guests are entitled to use the  
Kapalua Resort Shuttle, a complementary door-to-door shuttle serving  
the entire resort. Whether you wish to go to the beach, a golf  
course or restaurant, the shuttle can take you. 
 
Golf: Kapalua is home to three championship golf courses. The  
Village Course, Bay Course and current home of the PGA Tour Mercedes  
Championship, the Plantation Course. Kapalua is also home to one of  
the best golf academies in the US, according to Golf Magazine.  
Private lessons by golf professionals are available to anyone  
wishing to improve their game and a free, open to the public clinic  
is held every Sunday.  
 
Beaches: Kapalua has three white sand beaches, D.T. Flemmings Beach,  
Oneloa Beach and the #1 Beach in America, (according to the readers  
of Conde Naste, Dr. Beach and the Travel Channel) Kapalua Bay Beach.  
Kapalua Bay Beach is naturally protected by a lava cove, making it  
perfect for children. It is also one of the best places to snorkel  
in Hawaii and it’s pristine sand is perfect for sunbathing.  
 
Restaurants: Kapalua has everything from fine dining to casual beach- 
side hamburgers. Three restaurants of distinction are Sansei, Vino  
and the Plantation House. Sansei is one of the best sushi and

Zagats' highest rating. Vino is a trendy Italian restaurant with a  
great wine list and one of the largest wine by the glass offerings  
around. It specialized in tapas and has won many awards. The  
Plantation House is a great Pacific Rim cuisine restaurant with an
