Vacation Rental Description

Thank you for your interest in our Donner Lake home.  We have completely remodeled this home and it  
is terrific inside and out. It is two blocks up from Donner Lake on a quiet residential street. 
 
Access to our home is easy. We keep our parking pad plowed. There is enough room to park three  
vehicles in front of the house. 
 
Through the front door you enter the upper level of the home. There is a living room, kitchen,  
dining room, bedroom and 1 full bathroom (with a Jacuzzi tub) and a  ½ bathroom. It has hardwood  
flooring and beautiful granite counters (in the kitchen). It has a TV (access to cable) with a VCR  
and DVD player. 
 
Go down a flight of carpeted stairs to a lower level. There are 2 more bedrooms, a full bathroom  
(with a second Jacuzzi tub), a washing machine and a dryer. 
 
Our home has 3 queen-sized beds and there is room on the floor for a couple of children in sleeping  
bags. We don’t want to rent to large groups. This is not a party cabin. It is perfect for a family  
or two. 
 
Truckee’s restaurants and shops are 10 minutes from the house. Skiers can drive to Northstar or  
Squaw Valley in 20 minutes; Sugar Bowl is a short 10 minute drive. 
 
We don’t rent to folks who smoke and we don’t allow pets. 
 
Rental Rates: 
$275 per night (2-night minimum) plus $100 cleaning fee 
$100 extra for linens 
$1700 per week (7 nights)

Activities and Attractions

There are trails to hike, rocks to climb, and a beautiful lake for swimming, fishing, and boating  
nearby. There is also a place to rent small boats and jet skis within a short walk of our place. The  
town of Truckee is a fun place to shop and has some lovely restaurants. You can also take inflatable  
boats rafting down the Truckee River.

Vacation Rental Rates

We charge $275 per night (includes Town of Truckee tax) plus $100 for cleaning.  
Most of our guests bring their own sheets and towels. If you'd like to use the  
ones in the house, please figure in an additional $100. Finally, there is a  
completely refundable security deposit of $275.
