Bahia Mar Resort. Completly remodeled unit with brand new furniture  
and fixtures, even an alarm. No more 1970's here! This is spacious, 2  
bedroom, 2 bath condo right on the beach. Just open your door and  
your there!  
 
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. All new  
appliances,dishes, pots and pans. Everything you could imagine in  
your own kitchen is here for you to enjoy without the worry.. But if  
you don't feel like cooking, there is a full-service restaurant  
onsite at the Bahia Mar Resort. 
 
The living room has an breathtaking view of the ocean. Just open the  
door and your on the beach. Equipped with a large screen TV with a  
VCR and DVD for easy use. So bring your movies or just watch free  
cable TV. 
 
The master bedroom has a new pillow-top mattress for extreme confort.  
Wake up and open the blinds to view the ocean in bed. The second  
bedroom is spacious with 2 queen beds, makeup desk and TV.  
 
There is a lot to do at the Bahia Mar Resort with its 15 acres of  
lush tropical landscape. The Bahia Mar Resort features two swimming  
pools , a children's pool, an over-sized spa, a putting  
green, tennis, volleyball, and shuffleboard courts.  
 
Watersports, and beach chairs and umbrella rentals are available. And  
sand castle lessons are available! Enjoy the walk down the beautiful  
river walk located on the property. Off-site bird- and turtle- 
watching, and beach four-wheeling are popular island activities.  
 
Entertainment includes seasonal big-band music and karaoke. Spring  
break brings live bands, radio remote broadcasts, and daily poolside  
parties.  
 
The Bahia Breeze Restaurant & Lounge features a poolside terrace and  
offers a breakfast buffet, lunch, cocktail hour, and dinner. And The  
Cabana is a lively bar that's popular with spring-break visitors,  
snowbirds, and convention guests. 
 
Other activies include horseback riding and the Laguna Madre Nature  
trail. Visit the historical Port Isabel. There are museums and make  
sure you visit the 100 year old Port Isabel lighthouse. Port Isabel  
has many cute little shops including antiques and art galleries. Just  
a 30 minute drive to Brownsville to one of the top zoos in the  
country- The Gladys Porter Zoo.  
 
Then across the border to Matamores, Mexico. Make sure you visit  
Garcia's restaurant and curios shop. The food and entertainment are  
great and the shop there has wonderful Mexican crafted gift items.  
For you golfers there is Golf on the Gulf on Mexico at the the South  
Padre Island Golf Club in Languna Vista, or play at the Rancho Viejo  
golf club,just 30 minutes away from South Padre.  
 
Water activities include Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark, dolphin  
watch, boogie boarding,snorkeling and scuba, surfing and sailboat  
rental. For the fisherman in the family there is bay fishing,deep sea
