Texas Cape Cod Cottage in New Braunfels

This charming fully-furnished, custom-designed cottage is reminiscent of seaside locales, though centrally located just 7 miles south of New Braunfels, minutes from San Antonio and the Texas Hill Country. The Texas Cape Cod Cottage is situated on Long Creek, which feeds into the Guadalupe River upstream from Treasure Island (Lake McQueeney). Perched above the owners' private garage, with a river view from the deck and lovely patio area below, this home comfortably accommodates six adults in three separate sleeping quarters. Two bedrooms, each with one queen bed, share an upstairs balcony.  Children especially enjoy the 10' x 13' loft with two twin beds and ship's ladder entry. The hardwood floors, owner's original artwork and bright decor add warmth and a unique ambience to this vacation property. Enjoy relaxing by the firepit after a day of watersports or shopping, or bring your watercraft to the convenient neighborhood boat ramp just a block away and launch directly into the Guadalupe River. This is the perfect vacation spot for fishing, boating, skiing, site-seeing, shopping or relaxing in a quiet atmosphere.
Guests younger than 18 must be accompanied by parent/guardian. Sorry, we cannot accommodate pets.

world-famous Schlitterbahn waterpark; Landa Park; the fabulous
McKenna Children's Museum and other local museums showcasing the
area's German heritage; visiting and antiquing in historic Gruene
and New Braunfels; shopping at the outlet malls in San Marcos. Two
public golf courses, the Bandit and Landa Park Golf Course are
within 10 minutes. Take a scenic drive to Hill Country towns like
Fredericksburg and Wimberly. Less than an hour's drive to San
Antonio's attractions including the Alamo, Sea World, and Fiesta
Texas; and only minutes to Randolph Air Force Base. Wonderful
restaurants featuring authentic German and Mexican foods,
as well as great all-American burger joints, are plentiful in our
area.
