delights amid the hustle and bustle of this exceptional resort town.

All amenities including air conditioning, master bedroom with queen
bed. Two bedrooms on second level, one with a double bed, other with
two twins, and a loft with a double futon. Two cable tvs including
wall mounted 40 inch LCD with dvd, other 27inch with dvd,
washer/dryer, fully equipped kitchen, and barbecue grill. Deck
overlooks the lake and the pool. Wireless high speed internet.
Parking pass may be included in season. No smoking inside please.
Please note towels, linens, and beach chairs are not included.

activities and attractions in Rehoboth Beach Delaware

Pool on property. Basketball, tennis courts, baseball diamond,
soccer field, and playground are available within a stone's throw
away at the Rehoboth elementary school. Fish or feed the turtles and
ducks from the foot bridge over the lake. Rent a kayak and paddle
around the lake.

Loved Newbold Square!

Convenient, clean and comfortable, with easy access to pool overlooking Silver Lake. The complex is up-scale, with lovely plantings and trees. Can walk everywhere, which we enjoyed, especially into town at night for dinner. Long blocks to the beach, but much quieter than being in town, especially in the morning. We will definitely be back next year.

Recommended for: adventure seekers, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway

dirty overall, awful beds, semi-convenient locale

i can't get over how seedy and dirty this condo was. THE BEDS WERE THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE THINGS I'VE EVER SLEPT IN EVER IN MY LIFE. nothing felt nice. the drawers in the kitchen were dirty, mold on the underneath of the doors of the frigerator, trash under the dresser in my bedroom. the layout was pretty good for kids & adults. the pool was very handy for kids/adults. 4 (very long) blocks to the beach was fine for me adults and ok for the 5/8 year olds (better with bikes).

but the unit itself, just dirty. the rugs, the couches, the bedding. there wasn't even a cover on the futon, which might suggest that occassssionally the cover gets washed -- guess it doesn't. the bed spreads were cheap, chinsy and thin. i think it's almost mean, to rent a place out to a family or 2, for a week and provide such hard, uncomfortable beds. we're stuck there, can't get any sleep. there were burn marks in the kitchen counter. the cleaning people came 2 hours before check out today when it was time to leave. there were bulbs missing from some lights so i couldn't turn them on. there were all these dirty stuffed animals that came with the rental for some bizarre reason taking up space and gathering dust bunnies. one filthy dirty bathroom floor mat that looked as if it'd never been washed.

the unit itself, pretty unimpressive. pretty small and cozy and tight really. not good for older children. and terrible for toddlers because the stairs are open.

Recommended for: families with young children

Owners response: As the owners of this unit, we am not surprised that this renter gave our property a poor review; in fact, we expected it. Tenant had no complaints when she arrived and, pursuant to her contract, did not notify owner of any problems. She started to complain after her children broke several items.

We have owned this property for 10 years and have never had a single complaint about its cleanliness. We employ an outside cleaning company to clean after every renter. The cleaning company checks and replace light bulbs; extras are also included in the unit(tenant didn't read the info sheet and thought that she should not have to screw in a light bulb). A repair person did not arrive quickly enough for renter after someone in her party knocked a bifold door off the track on a Sunday. The futon has a "couch" mattress with a cover. No one else has complained about the beds but we will concede that the mattresses are firm. If tenant had read the information sheet she would have seen that some tenants leave "Funland" stuffed animals for future tenants with children (repeat tenants find it "charming"); tenant was free to throw them out.

Tenant forgot to mention that she also complained one day when the pool opened 13 minutes later than the scheduled opening time. The one true statement in the review is that there is a burn in a kitchen counter. There is a security gate included in the rental for toddlers.

Tenant did not check out on time. We had to pay the cleaners extra to return because the tenant would not vacate when they arrived. Interesting that she subsequently acknowledged,"sorry again.I misread the paperwork."

If there were a way to rate renters, this one would receive a -1 on a scale of 1-10. That said, she certainly had a beautiful week, weather-wise. Good thing or we would have heard about that, too.

Nice place, especially if you have little ones

The condo is nice and is in a great location. The beach is close, but if you don't like the sand, the pool is great too. There's a playground with swings and slides, great for kids! Plus the inlet has all types of birds, ducks, even turtles. Only a mile or so from the outlets and less then that for great restaurants.
