Miley Cyrus stayed at our beautiful beach while she was filming her movie, The Last Song.  Non smoking unit! No pets allowed! Gull Reef #614 located at 404
Butler Ave. (Beachside Colony across from City Hall). This unit has
a view, NOT ocean front. Our beautifully decorated, tiled and
colorful condo (1400 sq ft.) sleeps eight (8) and is fully furnished
with washer/dryer and all of the comforts of home. Master bath has
whirlpool jacuzzi tub, kingsize bed and sliding glass doors that lead
to the balcony with ocean views. The main living area is spacious
with sliding glass doors that lead to the balcony enjoying ocean
views as well. The condo offers high speed internet, cable, stereo
and all of the rooms have DVD players and TV's. The sleeping
arrangements are: 2 twins, 1 Queen, 1 king and a pull out couch.

(August - February)  $1600 week includes all cleaing fee and taxes or $200 night plus $150 for taxes and cleaning fee.

*nightly rentals add $150 for cleaning fee & taxes.
*Long term rental from October to February is $2500 a month inclusive.

First time ocean goers

I had contacted the owner and explained that this would be my families first trip to the ocean and that my son was on a 36hr pass from military. I also explained I had no idea what time we would arrive, as we were dealing with military. She was very understanding, sweet, and curtious to me. The condo was absolutely amazing. It had everything you would need and was decorated very island like. The condo was spacious, giving us plenty of room to move around. The condo was very clean and well kept. The balcony was nice. When you look to your left you can see the ocean. However, the pools are on the other side of the building. It was extremely cold and windy while we were down there, but I loved the condo and view. Access to the beach is just down the stairs, out the gate, and about 100 ft. away. We walked the beach and around the bend to the pier, about 15 blocks, but it was just nice to walk on the beach. You are close enough to the pier and tourist area to walk, but yet far enough away to be secluded if you want. The dining facilities at the condo were amazing. We were able to sit out on a deck just feet off the beach. It was very relaxing and enjoyable. The dining staff were very friendly and enjoyable to be around, and the food was amazing.
Unfortunately, due to my son being released extremely late from the military, we did not arrive until around 11 p.m. on Friday and had to leave before 8 am on Sunday to get him back. Although our time was extremely short and the weather was cool and cloudy, we had a wonderful time. We are talking about going back, when my son can have guaranteed leave time, and perhaps the weather will be a little more cooperative. He really enjoyed the beach, collecting sea shells, and watching the dolphins. We are hoping when we return, we will be able to get the same condo, as we were very happy. Thanks to the owner for allowing us to share the short time with our son, in such a wonderful location and such a nice condo. It was everything you said and described to us and more.

Pleasant condo on Tybee

Our family met at the condo for a 4 night vacation to wrap up the summer. We had never been to Tybee Island before and really enjoyed it..cute little island with some cute shops and restaurant. Big, wide beach but the sand is not very soft when you cross from the condo to the water's edge...lots of tiny shells and sand like gravel. At the water's edge, however, the sand is nice and soft. The kids loved making castles and looking for little shells.
Condo pool area was nice and clean, nice pads on lounge chairs, kiddie pool very shallow with fun "rain" waterfall. The two other pools were
kind of small, though. Nice to have a poolside bar and snack shop...walk right out of pool area and down to the beach.
The condo unit was nice, but some of the amenities could use some attention.
Internet service was spotty, and had some issues with the cable tv in bedrooms.
We had a minor housekeeping issue when we arrived but the owner was very attentive and sent the cleaning person right away to attend to it.
The inside of the unit looked just like the pictures, no surprises.
The owner let us check in early since there was no one in the unit the day before we arrived.
Overall, the condo was a decent option for a budget beach getaway.

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers

Great condo close to beach and pool

The condo is wonderful. Spacious and beautifully decorated. It is extremely close to the beach and the pool with parking right outside the door. We parked our car upon arrival and didn't need it again until we were ready to leave! We definitely plan to stay here again!

Recommended for: age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sight seeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway
