Our Island Hideaway is located in the beautiful Maalaea Banyans,
Maalaea, Maui, about 75 ft. from the ocean. It is a completely
furnished 1br/1ba unit including a queen size sleeper sofa in the
living room, so that four people can occupy the unit comfortably. It
is air-conditioned and has a large lanai which directly faces the
ocean. A fully equipped remodeled modern kitchen with Black Galaxy
Granite Countertops and Natural Maple Cabinets and featuring a New
Stainless Steel Stove w/Black Ceramic top Radiant Heat,
refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and all amenities for cooking
along with a new washer/dryer make our vacation home complete in
every way. Our unit is attractively furnished with a tropical motif
and excellently maintained.
Enjoy spectacular sunrises while you have breakfast on our spacious
lanai. Listen to the waves crashing as you dine in our Island
Hideaway. In the summer months you can also watch the surfers who
ride the world famous " Maalaea Bay Freight Train". Throughout
the winter months you can watch the humpback whales display their
majesty, from our lanai.

The Ma’alaea Waterfront Restaurant - oceanfront dining in the lobby
of the Milowai. (about a 5-minute walk towards the harbor).Excellent
food! A bit expensive, but well worth it.
(Sometimes you can get 2 for 1 by looking in the Maui News or other
local paper for their Anniversary Specials). We highly recommend the
Waterfront.
Buzz’s Wharf - Located in Ma’alaea Harbor. Great place to relax and
enjoy a drink.
Beach Bum's Harborfront Grill and Bar – Located in the Ma’alaea
Triangle about an 8 minute walk overlooking the harbor. Food is
promptly served and is good.
Maalaea Grill – Located in the Ma’alaea Triangle about an 8 minute
walk overlooking the harbor. Great food at reasonable prices.
Outstanding decor.
Seascape Restaurant ~ located in the Maui Ocean Center open for
lunch only- you do not have to pay admission to get to the
restaurant.
Carls Jr – located near the Union 76 gas station on Honoapiilani Hwy
Convenience stores:
Tradewinds Mart & Deli is located in the Ma’alaea Mermaid a short
walk towards the harbor area. Hours: 9 AM – 9 PM M- Th, 9 AM – 10 PM
Fri & Sat. You can rent videos here.
The Ma’alaea Store is open 9 AM to 3:00 PM, M – F and is a short
walk to the Ma’alaea Harbor.It is mainly a fishing supply store.
Circle K - located near the Union 76 gas station on Honoapiilani Hwy
Activities:
Walk along Ma’alaea Beach/Sugar Beach. At the end of Hauoli St, (go
right when you exit the building), there is a public beach park
called Haycraft Park and a 7mile beach that stretches all of the way
to Kihei. You can swim, surf, sun, snorkel and walk along this beach.
Maui Ocean Center: Maui’s new aquarium is located near the harbor, a
short walk from your condo. Admission is about$18 per adult.
Ma’alaea Harbor: Just a short walk from the condo is the Harbor
where you can watch surfers, take a whale-watching cruise (winter
months) or snorkel cruise, fishing expedition or enjoy a romantic
sunset dinner cruise.
