Enjoy endless white sand beaches in this charming three-bedroom, two-
bath designer updated executive home on Barrier Island. Private 
access to miles of sun, sand and water within 200-feet of Sea Horse 
House. A large backyard with numerous indigenous plants offers safe 
area for children to play in. Surrounded by ancient trees and 
towering palms, the circular drive of this landscaped, two-car 
garage home is a retreat for those with discriminating taste. 

A peaceful palm papered entry welcomes you with emerald black slate 
floors and a bamboo boat displayed beneath wooden Mandela Indian 
art. Ralph Lauren Pebble Beach walls envelope the elegantly tropical 
designed living room with pewter lighting, Seashell colored Thai 
window dressings, home furnishings of the highest quality and 
antique accents that warm the room and your heart. Sturdy stone-
white Berber carpeting throughout living area and bedrooms cushion 
feet after long beach walks. Entertain in the formal mahogany dining 
room that seats six on custom-restored gold, ivory and jade stripped 
seats.

With the Master Bedroom at one end of the home and two bedrooms at 
the other, complete privacy is offered to the Sea Horse House 
guests. A stunningly designed Master Bedroom done in Quaker-white 
with an accented red wall features a four poster-bed with 600-count 
Egyptian silk bedding that will make any couple feel like royalty. 
Swirling cork flooring creates a contemporary Asian atmosphere 
culturally transporting you to the vacation you’ve always dreamed 
of. Sounds of the handmade grandfather clock are a counterpoint to 
the rhythm of the pounding surf heard all night long. 

Master Bath features travertine flooring, his and her basins, wild 
bamboo wallpaper, rust colored towels with embroidered palm trees, 
wall to wall mirrors, gold framed cabinets, and a walk-in shower. 
The second bath is decorated in the homes signature Sea Horse motif. 
A linen closet is filled with beach towels and accessories to make 
your stay comfortable.

A recently upgraded Florida Room with white rattan furniture with 
palm green and blue tropical cushions display red orchids that beg 
your attention and presence. Have afternoon tea there, read any 
number of classic books from the library, or just lay back and rest 
your eyes before viewing the spectacular sunsets beneath branches of 
the century old Banyan tree in front of Sea Horse House. The Florida 
Room also hosts a white wrought iron dining set done in 1950’s sky 
blue.  

West Palm Beach Kitchen features diagonal-diamond slate and 
porcelain flooring and travertine marble and porcelain countertops 
tiled with inlayed mosaics of ocean scenes above stove and near 
kitchen sink. Fully-equipped with pass-through to Florida Room, new 
dishwasher, microwave, stove and refrigerator satisfy any novice or 
near chef experience. Several sets of tableware assure no shortage 
while hosting dinner guests. Dine in formal dining room, family room 
or Florida room.

Oak paneled Family room cools the body during warm conditions and 
heats up with a built in fireplace when cool; pickled oak seating 
with black Orchid bark cloth upholstery. Featured art of local brown 
pelicans. Second bedroom complete in sunny yellow that brings the 
morning in lighting oak furniture with floral bedding. The Third 
Bedroom maintains the classic library with a sleigh bed completed in 
hand sown presidential bedding. Laundry room with washer, dryer and

Activities and Attractions

Vero Beach is noted for wildlife viewing with the first National
Wildlife Refuge being three miles away on the Indian River to 
preserve the Pelican and sea bird nesting areas.  In Summer the 
house is in the middle of 17 miles of beaches used by loggerhead 
turtles (four feet across) for nesting.  Last year 2000 nest in 
area.  Disney Victorian Seaside resort 5  miles away miles for 
dinners as well as four star Ocean Grill or casusal Driftwood Inn 
for excellent dining.  Golfing and public tennis courts are only 
exceeded by a world class art museuem and theatre on Island
