When we vacation we are always cautious. We like to rent on the beach. But as you know relying on websites can be dangerous. And beach houses are tough - especially old ones.

Our own home is hard to leave. We have a great house with a great pool and yard in a great town with a private beach down the street. So we are always tough customers.

We've been to several states and beach houses over the years and we've been blown away and let down as well.

Your house did not disappoint. It was comfortable, clean and well maintained - the landscaping is killer for beach front conditions. It's obvious how much work you have done to maintain the charm and update it as much as possible.

The use of space made it efficient for us and easy with the kids.

Most of all, we felt like we were guests in someones home not just a "renter" visiting a house where no one makes a home

we were excited to come to fire island and i must say this house didn't disappoint. Few house end up being as described but this was the exception . The owner has taken care of all details . i suggest this house to anyone who is looking for the best of ocean front and a pool ( a rare find)

we booked the house based on photos we saw on the vacation rentals website .We originally were looking for a full week but owner convinced us to take mid week . we were glad we did as 5 days here was better than all the 7 day rentals we did. Having rented houses for years and being disappointed in the past i must say this house was everything it claimed to be and more . It was steps from the ocean and the meticulous attention to detail of the grounds was obvious . There was no stone left unturned here,. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed . I suggest this house to anyone .
