Welcome to La Luna, a magical collection of romantic eco boutique cabanas, hidden away on the beach near Tulum. We are situated on the main beach road that runs to Boca Paila and Punta Allen (approx 6.8 km) and easy to find. When you get to Tulum from Cancun airport (1.5 hrs) take a left at the 1st traffic light direction Boca Paila. When you hit the
beach road after approx 5 kms take a right to Boca Paila and Punta Allen. After approx. 1.8 km just look for the large blue doors on the left side of the road and a moon ("Luna") signaling our driveway.
La Luna is located on a beautiful stretch of more than 50 meters (165 feet) of beach frontage and well over an acre in size. Accommodations consist of 5 very special & romantic cabanas situated right on the beach with a unique view of the beautiful blue ocean. Furthermore we have a beautiful 4-bedroom villa with large private pool in the lush La Luna gardens. The names reflect the very different, unique style and atmosphere each of these cabanas provide.

Robinson Crusoe - A rustic, yet elegant cabana for 2 with queen bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and adjacent wooden deck with chairs, dining table and hammocks overlooking the ocean
Christopher Columbus - A very colorful cabana for 2 with queen bed, private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, and adjacent wooden deck with chairs, dining table and hammocks overlooking the ocean
Casablanca - A very romantic Moroccan style cabana sleeping 2. The cabana features a king size bed, a spacious bathroom with beautiful shower, toilet and sink as well as a private deck with chairs, dining table and hammocks overlooking the ocean
Marrakech - A large and beautifully decorated cabana in turquoise with artistic murals and private outside stairway, sleeping 2-4. Marrakech has high ceilings, two sleeping areas (both with queen bed), separated by a bathroom with shower, toilet and sink, 2 large balconies overlooking the jungle and full ocean view
Captain Dale's Beach House - Our Beautiful Belizean style beach house sleeping 2-6, with 1 king size bed downstairs & 2 queen beds on open lofts, connected by an artistic wooden walkway. It has a spacious bathroom with 2 sinks, a large shower and toilet, large private deck with chairs, dining table, hammocks, and private stairway to the beach
Villa Zanzibar - a 4-bedroom, 3 bathroom villa located a bit further back on the property in the midst of lush gardens, with large private pool and baby pool, pool patio and outdoor lounge area and equipped kitchen. A perfect hideaway for groups or families up to 8 people.

Jungle View Penthouse - a 2-bedroom penthouse with the best views of the Mexican jungle and beautiful sunsets which you can enjoy right from the master bedroom with king size bed and a spacious balcony with the same spectacular views. The second room is either used a lounge room or can be used as a second bedroom. It has 2 single beds which can be joined and made up as a king bed and a bathroom with shower, two sinks and a toilet

Garden Suite - a garden cabana with nice terrace and garden with king size bed and 2 single beds which are either set up a couches or used as beds, walk-in closet and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet

NOTE THAT THE BEACH CABANAS WERE BUILT IN 2007 and THE PRIVATE VILLA AND POOL AND JUNGLE VIEW PENTHOUSE AND GARDEN SUITE WERE BUILT IN 2009!

Each cabana is furnished with:
- Private bathroom with toilet, sink and shower, cold & hot water
- Bamboo "roofs" over the beds with large Mosquito nets and fans inside for a nice breeze
- 24 hour Electricity (both solar panels and a wind generator)
- Linens, pillows and blankets
- Bath and beach towels
- Drinking water
- Liquid soaps
- Ice chest (with ice on demand)
- Private deck with chairs and hammock(s)

The property has the following general amenities:
- Daily cleaning of cabanas
- Full restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner
- Special meals served at your private deck or at one of the natural rock dining tables located under a massive seagrape tree
- Outdoor fresh water shower
- Hammocks
- beach beds and chairs

Optional services at additional charge:
- Airport transfers - $115 for 2 via Tucan Kin

Our staff can help you arrange for these and many more amenities as well as solve any problems which could arise.

The beach. If not, there are always the hammocks. There are also cenotes for swimming or
cave diving all over the area: Xel-ha, Dos Ojos, Grand Cenote, Caleta Tankah... A day or
more for a run down to Punta Allen is worth the time. As is a guided tour of the Sian Ka'an
reserve, a day to Coba, Tulum Ruins, etc
Restaurants: there a number of great restaurants located within walking distance of Luna.
Try Zamas, Maya Tulum, Violeta, Casa Banana, la Vita e Bella, Hechizo, Mezzanine on the
beach or in town: La Nave, Ginger...

Reservation/cancellation policy:
We request a 50% deposit via credit card and/or paypal to secure the reservation. The balance needs to be paid in full 2 weeks before your stay. In case of cancellation up to 60 days before the actual reservation, we will refund 50% of the actual paid deposit (ie 25% of the total booking price). In case of cancellations within 60 days of the start of the reservation period, no refunds will be given, but half of the deposit can be used for
another stay for up to a year after the start date of the initial reservation.
Check-in time is 3:00pm, check-out time is 12am. Guests arriving after 8pm should announce this in advance so that we can arrange for a welcome.
