Adventure River Center: Rustic Luxury in Oregon's Cascades in McKenzie River

The Adventure River House is a three-bedroom, two-bath
vacation home that features stunning vaulted ceiling architecture,
a romantic loft, a full self-service kitchen, a comfortable and
roomy living room with T.V., VCR, DVD, and stereo, and a sitting
room that can double as a meeting room or bedroom. The
angled roof-line, large master bedroom, dramatic beams, and
back-door pasture all add up to a cozy and unique vacation
getaway.

On the first floor of the house you will find most of the living
space: a master bedroom with walk in closet and full bathroom,
a second full-size bedroom, a bathroom with claw-foot tub and
full-size shower, a separate toilet room, washer and dryer pantry,
kitchen with a full complement of dishes and cooking gear, a
sitting/meeting room that can also serve as a bedroom given the
queen-sized hide-a-bed couch, and a delightful living room with
wood-burning stove. Upstairs is a cozy reading room loft with
queen-sized futon and a four single futon bed private loft
bedroom. Out back is a covered backyard porch, with pasture
and cedar tree views. In addition, the house features a fenced
front yard with barbecue as well as a fenced kennel for
pets.

The Adventure River House serves as an excellent base for
outdoor adventure recreation activities. World class fishing for
native trout is found on the McKenzie river. And, rafting, kayaking,
and hiking opportunities abound.

Included with the rental of the lodge are mountain bikes and
discounts on rafting trips offered by our affiliate company,
Destination Wilderness. Fishing, hiking, rock climbing, golfing,
and kayaking are also available virtually right outside your front
door. A grass volleyball court and regulation horseshoe pit are
also located on the property.

The Adventure River Center is located on the McKenzie Highway,
between the towns of Vida and Blue River, approximately 45
minutes east of Eugene, Oregon. The McKenzie Highway
(Oregon State Route 126) parallels the sparkling, pine tree-laced
McKenzie River that flows from headwaters in the Three Sisters
Wilderness Area.

Please note that this is not an ultra luxurious riverside home with
untouchable character. It is a friendly, charming place located
across the road from the river, and is a perfect place for those
seeking a relaxing and unique place to stay.

Rates are per night: $150.00 for up to 4 people. Each additional
