Cozy two bedroom apartment in a renovated 100 year old farmhouse
surrounded by vineyards and olive trees with a spectacular view of
the Gulf of La Spezia and the Mediterranean Sea. The location is
ideal for day trips to Florence, Pisa, Genoa and numerous seaside
fishing villages and medieval mountain villages. It is 45 minutes
from the Pisa airport or about one hour from the airports in Genoa
or Florence. The apartment is located on the side of a hill
overlooking the town of La Spezia and the sea. The view from the
front windows or the front terrace both day and night is
breathtaking. It is only 5 minutes trip to town with numerous
restaurants, coffee bars, museums, tourist boat services, and the
train station, or if you prefer the beach it is about 15 minutes.
You can take the train from La Spezia and be one the Italy’s most
popular tourist destinations, the Cinque Terre, in 10 minutes. For
those who like to walk or hike there are mountain paths directly
behind the house that take you across many terraces of vineyards and
olive groves. These paths also connects to the Italian Alpine Clubs
marked paths that are mapped and take trekkers to many beautiful and
historical sites.
The apartment is located on the second floor of the farmhouse. In
addition to the queen size bed in the main floor bedroom, there is a
loft bedroom with two single beds that can be made up to be one king
size bed. The bathroom and kitchen are modern and fully equipped.
There is also a small agriturismo located on the premises that is
operated by my brother and his wife that is available for dinner
upon request. They produce their own wine, olive oil, and vegetables
and serve picturesque candlelit dinners on the terrace fro

The apartment is located at the center of the "Gulf of Poets", close
to all the famous villages of the Italian Riviera. Portovenere,
Lerici, Cinque Terre, Portofino etcc.
Only 30 min.to the Carrara Marble cave with a very interesting
museum with artifacts dating back to the roman empire.
La Spezia has a renewed traffic-free center of town with fine
shopping and relaxing promenade.
The apartment is fully furnished with all you need for a relaxing
vacation. Sky TV, radio, CD player, high speed Internet available at
extra charge.
Linen, towels, pots and pans and all kitchenware to try your italian
cooking skills.

From our house, walk up and down the hills on centuries old paths
and discover old villages and new villas, all surrounded by the
