Justus House - 88 Spanish Town Lane - Rosemary Beach, Florida
Located south of 30A right on one of Rosemary’s famous beach boardwalks, the Justus House is a large main house and carriage house combination that offers the finest in vacation accommodations. Hand-hewn elements, which range from 150-year-old beams, timbers and antique newel posts to furniture grade hand-carved cabinetry, tongue and groove wainscoting and ceilings and hammered iron balusters
enrich the modern living spaces with old world style.
The 4500 square foot main house has 4 bedrooms/5 baths plus a twin “nook” bedroom. The carriage house offers a bedroom/living area, bath and full kitchen. All together the home sleeps 14. The boardwalk to the Gulf is approximately 225
leisurely walking steps to the beach. The home is very near the Barbados pool and our other vacation rental home, Shangri-La. You will be able to enjoy all the amenities of Rosemary Beach including 4 pools (one indoor heated), eight clay tennis courts (fees apply), fitness center (fees apply), spa (fees apply), playgrounds and 4 private beach walkovers.
First Floor: The home is entered by a refreshing, slate-tiled covered porch. A gracious entry foyer has seating and leads to two guest (a king and a queen-twin) bedrooms with private baths, as well as an additional mudroom bath and laundry room with outdoor access through the shower for easy clean-up after a day in the sand. Master king bedroom has bedside tables with lamps, TV, DVD, and private bath with marble vanity sink and jetted tub/shower. The other bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed, work desk with chair, chest of drawers and lamps plus a private bathroom with granite vanity sink and tub/shower.
Second Floor: The home’s living area is located on the second floor. Tall, sun-filled windows and doors along with a substantial stone fireplace marry oak wood floors with 12-foot ceilings which carry throughout this grand space. The kitchen is serviced by stainless steel Jenn-Air appliances including two ovens, dishwasher, fridge and microwave, generous cabinet storage space, a center island with 2 bar stools and apron sink with a tree-top view. A spacious covered porch provides ample outdoor entertaining space and is outfitted with a wrought iron table and 4 chairs. A nautical-themed bunk room with 2 built-in twin beds adjoins the hall shower bath. Living room features sofa, 4 side chairs, lamps, side tables, TV, DVD and wireless internet plus the adjacent dining area with large table that seats up to 12.
Third floor: Second king master suite provides a private retreat with views into town and over the varied rooftops of Rosemary Beach. This suite features an outdoor parade balcony, walk-in closet, seating area with sofa and tall table with 4 chairs, wet bar with mini fridge, TV, and a private bath with limestone vanity sink and shower. A small “bonus bedroom” has one twin bed and a little chest of drawers.
Carriage House: Separate carriage house over the two-car garage features a studio apartment with fully-equipped kitchen, double bed, queen sleeper sofa, TV, DVD, kitchen table with 4 chairs and shower bath. Views of the Gulf down Spanish Town Lane. Charcoal grill.

Activities
An off-road paved path parallels all 18.6 miles of Scenic HW 30-A
and runs along the emerald green and blue waters of the Gulf of
Mexico. This path winds thru nine distinctive beach communities,
state parks, forests, dunes and coastal dune lakes. The paved trail
is ideal for biking, hiking, jogging and rollerblading.
As well, approximately 60% of our area is dedicated to preservation.
Hikers, bicyclists and nature lovers can enjoy over 200 miles of
networking trails that interlace thru state parks and forests that
stretch from the Gulf of Mexico to the Choctawhatchee Bay.
Other activities include high end shopping, live music and theater
and a variety of restaurants.
