This harbor is famous on Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park, for being the most photograped and painted working harbors in Maine. The famous Bass Harbor lighthouse is only 5 minutes away. Bar Harbor is a 15 min drive to the other side of the island. Kayak right from this oceanfront home, with steps to your private pebble beach or just relax on the many decks and enjoy the view.  Dogs are allowed.

An office area overlooks the harbor and is equipped with high speed internet, DSL, and fax machine, for those who need to stay in touch. Note, this home is one of the few on the island with high speed and fax, as well as cell phones do work here, for Verizon, and Sprint. Tired of those rentals where you cannot even call out? Then this is the home for you.

This home is within 3 minutes of Acadia National Park where you can enjoy biking, hiking, running, kayaking, or mountain climbing on the extensive trail system of over 55 miles. Or just kayak from the home. Spend your week enjoying nature by day and curling up to the fireplace at night.

Winter  2012/2013- Nov 3rd, 2012- April 20th, 2013 ,1800 a week, plus cleaning and tax

Spring 2013- April 21st, 2013 - May 17th, 2013- weekly only, $2200 a week-plus cleaning and tax 

Early Summer- May 18th 2013 to June 14th 2013- $2500 weekly -plus cleaning and tax 

Summer 2013- June 15th - September 6th 2012- weekly only- $3600 a week, saturday to saturday, add tax

Fall 2013: September 6th -Nov 1st 2013 - weekly only- $2700 a week..peak fall is October ...add cleaning and tax

Dogs are $100 each for the stay

Damage deposit: add $500 damage depsoit to all rates above, due at time ov booking then subect to $150 charge for cancellation.

 All monies due 90 days before , no refunds at that time unless rebooked and then the $150 charge still applies.

Add 10% tax, linens are included, in weekly only.

Note: During summer and fall : all homes on this island are weekly only due to laws established on the island, you can stay for less days, however you will be charged for one week.
