Adirondack Water's Edge Home in Lake Luzerne

Charming 3 bedroom, 2 bath waterfront home located on the pristine Upper  Hudson River. This beautiful stretch of calm water starts at the base of the Sacandaga River in the Luzerne Bay and winds its way 7 miles, down to the waterfalls of Corinth. The water is perfect for boating, tubing, water-skiing or sailing. Life jackets and canoe, along with many other water toys, are available for your use.

The home is 30 feet from the river with 75 feet of private sandy beach.
Dock is 35 feet long (water is approximately 7 feet deep at the end of the dock). River is 7 miles long and 15 to 30 feet deep.

Huge enclosed front porch for enjoying magnificent sunsets, which set directly in front of you over the river.

There are many ways to enjoy your day...start your morning off with fishing from the dock and breakfast on the front porch or perhaps a peaceful canoe ride. The dock is in from May to October and is good for mooring your boat or renting a pontoon boat from the local establishment up the river. A free NYS boat launch is just up from the home, so bring your own boat, launch it, and drive it to our dock. Public docks in Corinth make it easy to drive the boat into town for supplies.

Horseshoes, badminton, and volleyball are just a few of the activities that can be enjoyed. The water is great for young kids because the drop off is gradual and the sand is perfect for building castles. In the evening, you can nestle down on the beach in front of a fire pit and relax with some campfire stories and s'mores.

Only 15 minutes to the north is the Village of Lake George where you can enjoy The Great Escape amusement park, Wateslide World and many other attractions such as miniature golf, go-carts and picturesque golf courses.  There are also many little shops, as well as a huge shopping outlet.  You can explore Lake George by tour boat or even take a dinner cruise.  There are many wonderful restaurants to enjoy in and around the Lake George area.

Saratoga, home of the Flat Track, is only 15 minutes to the south.  August is racing season and a wonderful way to spend the day.  Enjoy the newly opened Saratoga Racino or catch a show (rock, jazz, or ballet) at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center.  There are several museums (Children's, Art, Auto and Military) to enjoy or you can visit the Saratoga Battlefield (turning point of the American Revolution).  Saratoga also has many shops and boutiques and plenty of fine dining.

Autumn offers exquisite fall foliage for viewing or perhaps hike or bike the many scenic trails in and around the Adirondacks. 

Wintertime offers plenty of skiing, snowboarding or tubing at the nearby West Mountain (10 minutes) or Gore Mountain (50 mintes).  Snowmobiling is also available along the many trails in the Adirondack Park.

Preferred maximum number of guests is six (6).
May consider additional guests for a fee.

Check-In: 3 p.m. / Check-Out: 11 a.m.
Please note that we usually rent on a weekly basis (Saturday to Saturday) and dates marked in red on our calendar may be available after 3 p.m.

Off Season Rate:  9/12/2009 to 5/22/2010 - $950 a week
