Beautiful Ocean Village Resort with Golf & Tennis in Hutchinson Island

Welcome to Paradise - Ocean Village located on Florida's Treasure Coast, South Hutchinson Island where you can walk the beach, fish, swim in one of five pools, play tennis, golf, enjoy a lite meal and cocktails at our poolside Tiki Bar, and dine in our five star restaurant "The Inn at Ocean Village.  You can also enjoy the quiet serenity of our rememberance garden, sitting on a bench among the mini waterfall enjoying the beautiful flowers and plants.

We have a beautiful, 2 bedroom, 2 bath, 3rd floor condo overlooking the 7th hole of the golf course.  The picture below of the golfers is the view from our porch.  It even has an ocean "peek". This large, open, sunny floor plan features comfortable furniture throughout. One bedroom has two full size beds and a large walk-in tiled shower with separate vanity and dressing area.

The second bedroom has a queen size bed with sliding glass doors opening onto the enclosed porch. Both bedrooms have TV's and full length mirrored closet doors. There is a washer and dryer and plenty of closet space. The living room has a leather sofa and loveseat. The living room and both bedrooms open onto a large screened-in porch with very comfortable furniture including a recliner and glider as well as a table and 2 chairs. A perfect place to enjoy the day and evening ocean breezes and watch some golf. Come for a visit and you'll want to stay. Just pack your toothbrush and some clothes. We provide everything else!

Ocean Village is located on Florida's Treasure Coast on South Hutchinson Island just off I-95. It is just a short drive (about 1 and 1/2 hrs) to Disney World, and only an hour north of West Palm Beach airport.

Ocean Village offers many sporting and leisure activities for your enjoyment, and the recreation center rents the equipment you would need. We also have bikes for your pleasure.

After a day of fun in the sun, enjoy some music, with a cocktail and lite fare at our poolside Tiki Bar or dine in "The Inn at Ocean Village" our 5 star restaurant and piano bar.

Ocean Village is impeccably landscaped and has every amenity and activity you could possibly want at a price you'd find hard to match. The golf is free off season, and only $3 in season (tee time needed). Tennis and golf round robin tournaments are held throughout the winter months. We have fall, winter and spring bocce leagues and a shuffleboard league as well as exercise and aquaerobic classes.

Some additional resort activities are: bridge, poker, oil painting, ceramic classes, tap and yoga classes, pilates, bible studies, garden seminars, and fishing outings. The resort also has an annual dog show, hospice horse races, fashion shows, trips to theatres and exhibits, movie nights as well as travel and cruise seminars. We also have holiday entertainment and Christmas and Easter activities for children.

Golf: There are 20 championship public golf courses located within a half hour drive .

Fishing: The Fort Pierce South Jetty, minutes away, boasts the best fishing in Florida and Ft. Pierce is the Sailfish capital of the world. You can also catch all kinds of fish on our beach including Bluefish, Pompano, Whiting. Charter Services and boat rentals are available at the marinas just minutes away.

Baseball: If you're a baseball enthusiast, Ocean Village is only a 1/2 hour away from the LA Dodgers (Vero Beach) and NY Mets (St. Lucie West) Spring Training Camps.

Shopping: 3 Major shopping Malls (within 30 minutes driving)

Discovery and Education: The Kennedy Space Center is 1-1/2 hr hours north and is well worth the drive.

Ocean Village is surrounded by many preserve beaches and areas that will allow you to view Florida and its wildlife in its natural state. If you drive south on A1A you will find the whole area dotted with preserved beaches and amazing nature trails on the Indian River that are free and open to the public.

The Harbor Branch Oceanographic Institute, UDT Navy Seal Museum and the Manatee Observation Areas (all minutes away from Ocean Village).

Bathtub Beach/Reef - great snorkeling/swimming for the children.

Horseback riding on the beach - Frederick Douglass Memorial park (3-4 miles south of Ocean Village) 1st, 2nd, and 4th Sunday of each month.

Alligator watching and feeding approx. 30 mins north toward Vero Beach. Make reservation and go out on the powerboat with a guide.

The Inn at Ocean Village- Our newly remodeled Oceanside restaurant just a 5 minute walk from our condo within our gated resort. 

Poolside Tiki Bar - located at the main pool serving breakfast, lunch dinner and, of course, refreshing cocktails.

Archie's - Less than a mile north on A1A - Very casual with pool tables inside and live music outside in the evenings.  This is a must on your places to visit.

Hurricanes - About a mile north on A1A by the jetty - eat in or call ahead and take it home - great wings.

12A Buoy - Our new favorite - Just over the causeway.  Fresh, delicious seafood!

The Edge - Perfect sunset spot on the inlet.  Where all the locals go - Good food and drinks

Tiki Bar and Restaurant - Come as you are! - Downtown at the Ft. Pierce marina. 2 bars, Live tropical music, everything to eat. Great Happy hour. Great view, surrounded on 3 sides by water and boats.

PP Cobbs - Located at the Ft. Pierce Marina across from the Tiki Bar and Restaurant. Great food, open air bar and dining area. Live music.

Mangrove Matties - Great view of the Ft. Pierce inlet to watch the boats go by - Great Happy Hour. All kinds of entrees for breakfast buffet, lunch and dinner.

Chuck's - Fried Shrimp is their specialty - Inside or outside on the beach watching the boats go by.

Goodfellows Pizza - Great Italian Food and pizza. Dine in or have delivered.

Captain Galleys - Great Breakfast specials and Lunch - on the causeway

High Tides - Oceanside restaurant with early bird specials and outside deck dining located just south of Ocean Village on A1A

Out of Bounds - South on US1 - Great food and piano bar on Friday nites

Grocery Stores: one smaller store on the causeway called Seaway Market and just north of the bridge on the mainland is Publix (a large supermarket).  South on Route 1 on the mainland is a Super Walmart, BJ's, etc.

Downtown Fort Pierce (near the Tiki bar) has an open market on the square every Saturday morning. Fresh fruits and vegetables, coffee and baked goods, many food vendors, fresh made guacamole and all kinds of arts and crafts, etc. Buy a cup of coffee and enjoy the walk with a view of the marina and inland waterway.

Don't forget the 1st Friday of every month there is an evening festival downtown featuring music food, vendors and lots of fun.
