Vacation Rental Description

Location, location, location. This Chalet style home is located in  
the Pines and Aspens, 1/4 mile from the State Park at Thumb Butte,  
yet 2 miles from Whiskey Row and the Courthouse Square in downtown  
Prescott. You can walk to the state park and explore the endless   
hiking and biking paths that would take days to master. Or, if  
shopping, dining, and nightlife is your calling, you can't beat our  
famous "Whiskey Row" for a good dose of live music, dancing, and  
dining. A multitude of shops and restaurants line the Square, along  
with the weekend events in the  Square that Prescott is so well  
known  
for. 
 
  
Sunrises over the granite boulders, and sunsets views over Thumb  
Butte is a daily event here. The house in private and sits on almost  
an acre. There is plenty of parking for cars and even an RV. 
  
This mountain home is 4 bedroom 2.5 bath and is perfect for large  
families or groups of friends with its open floor plan.  All the  
rooms are large and comfortable. The high ceilings with expansive  
windows take full advantage of the sky and views. 
  
As you walk in the front door, you are greeted by the living room  
with  log home style furnishings that face a cedar bookcase with  
TV/DVD, 6 CD stereo, and an electric fireplace on bricks. Huge  
windows look  out to the trees on the park like landscaping in  
front.  
The living room is open to the kitchen/dining/family room, and 1/2  
bathroom. 
Since Prescott is one of the oldest western towns in Arizona, this  
room was designed after the western tradition.A stone wood burning  
fireplace centers the room, with a large sofa and ottoman facing it.  
Across the room is a "farm table" that is 9 feet long, seats 10, and  
is just what you'd expect from a western BBQ. 
  
The Kitchen has a granite island with lots of cupboards, gas stove  
and all the amenities of home. 
There is a bar area with 2 log barstools for those who like  
to watch the chef cook. You'll love all the western bric brac and  
the  
spirits of the old west.Off the kitchen is a sliding glass door  
that exits out to a patio with barbecue and side covered deck. You  
can sit on the deck and watch deer run through the property, and  
enjoy stargazing at night. 
Up the stairs are 3 large bedrooms. All the bedroom have high A  
frame  
beamed ceilings with expansive windows. The Master bedroom has a  
mini  
loft with twin bed for a child, along with a thick pillow top King  
bed, with TV and designer bedding. The sunrises are beautiful from   
the window looking east. Next to the master is another bedroom with  
queen bed, and the same sunrise views.  
 
Down the hall is another room with King bed, and large windows with  
views of Thumb Butte and is tastefully decorated.   
 
All the bedding is designer coverings and upscale linens. Off the  
hallway is a laundry room with full size washer and dryer, and a  
large full bathroom with a sunken jetted tub. 
For those that hike, this tub is a great antidote for aching muscles. 
  
Another large bedroom takes up the 1st floor and has a King bed,  
twin  
bed, TV and has its own  bathroom. This is a great place for  
total privacy, or to put the kids when you want your privacy   
upstairs. 
  
This is the perfect getaway for those who want to be close to  
everything, but like the solitude of a mountain retreat.
