from two decks:  from the living room deck, enjoy ocean views and sounds 
of breaking waves while relaxing or dining.  From the bedroom deck, enjoy 
views of Carolina Beach Lake and walking trail.  The newly refurbished 
Carolina Beach boardwalk with various shopping and dining is within easy 
walking distance.  Fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer, wireless internet, 
and assigned parking make this condo a home away from home.  You can use the 
internet on the deck or inside, so be sure to bring your laptop.

Activities and Attractions

In addition to beachstrolling, swimming, sunbathing, surfing, 
fishing, and collecting shells, you might enjoy jogging or 
strolling around the walking trail of Carolina Beach Lake, or you 
can rent a paddle boat and canoe.  You can also visit the Carolina 
Beach Marina, tour Carolina Beach State Park, or stop by Kure Beach 
fishing pier to watch fishermen pull in their catch.  

Within a short drive, you can visit nearby cultural sites such as Fort 
Fisher Civil War Museum and the North Carolina Aquarium.  The city of 
Wilmington, NC, is 15 minutes away, and you will enjoy the downtown 
historic district with its "River Walk," carriage rides, shopping, and 
dining.  It's a growing port city that is a mixture of the old and new.  
In Wilmington, also, you might visit the USS North Carolina World War II 
Battleship. Screengem movie studios, the producers of "One Tree Hill," 
is also in Wilmington, and tours are available.
