Vacation Rental Description

Thank you for your interest in our charming 2 bedroom, 2 bath condo 
in beautiful Okaloosa Island, just outside of Destin, Florida. The 
unit is located in the Emerald Towers West condominium, which is an 
exclusive property built in 1997 and only has 44 units.

Great Panoramic Views! Corner unit offers some of the best views you 
will find anywhere in the Destin and Fort Walton Beach area. Open 
living room with lots of windows will make you feel you are on a 
beach house and not a condo. Emerald Towers West has one of the 
nicest floor plans on the Island and features a very large master 
bedroom facing the beach.  The second bedroom is very cute, with two 
twin beds and connects to one of the bathrooms.

This second story unit is easy to reach; you park right in front and 
go up a single flight of stairs, no need to wait for the elevator 
(although one is available). The building sits high so the first 
thing you will notice is the Gulf views are much better than you 
would expect from a second story ... they are breathtaking!  
Sitting in the wrap around balcony is reminiscent of a beach house; 
there is nothing obstructing your view, and the building is located 
right on the beach.

Inside, the unit has been meticulously decorated with upgraded 
furnishings.  The décor is light, bright, and has the Florida beach 
cottage look.

The entry and kitchen areas have tile floors and the rest of the 
unit has new carpeting. The air conditioning/heat system was just 
replaced. Well equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, and free wireless 
high speed internet access.

Why select this condo? While many people advertise Gulf front 
condos, the reality is that many sit back from the water. Sometimes 
a street (such as old 98) runs between the condo and the beach, or 
the pool is placed between the condo and the beach. If what you are 
looking for is a place where you can hear the ocean surf, have the 
views, and be right on the beach... this is the place!

Emerald Towers West amenities
- Private beach access with fresh water shower
- Swimming pool, which is heated during the winter months. Note: 
Pool is located in the parking area. This avoids the noise problems 
that many times occur in condos where the pool is located between 
the building and the beach.
- Two grills and picnic tables located in the pool area
- Plenty of parking spaces located in front of unit. My condo is 
conveniently located next to the stairs and is only one story up, 
therefore there is little need to use the elevator.

Okaloosa Island and Destin area:

Along with the beach, sun and watersports activities, local 
restaurants are within a 2-3 minute drive.  The Gulfarium is just 
around the corner with dolphin shows and aquariums for all ages.  
The Okaloosa Island pier is one mile away, offering good pier 
fishing for the fishermen, and sightseeing for the rest.  Many fine 
restaurants, miles of unspoiled and undeveloped beaches within 
walking distance. Destin Commons, Silver Sands Outlet mall and 
the Santa Rosa mall all offer excellent shopping.  

* Fire code regulations do not permit more than 6 people in the 
apartment, unless it is a child 2 years or younger.
