Vacation Rental Description
Come Get Wet! Quiet Kahili Beach (known locally as Rock Quarry Beach
for a plantation-era quarry which existed at one of the headlands
that form this broad, white sand, bay beach) is a scenic stroll or
very quick drive from this private, newly renovated, comfortably
furnished bluff-front beach home. Another half-dozen world class
beaches are within 10 minutes drive.
Beautifully furnished and well-equipped, this is a great home for a
couple, honeymooners, small families, or couples traveling together.
Tile kitchen and bathrooms, tropical cloth curtains and pillow
covers, comfortable beds with 100% cotton sheets and pillow cases,
lots of soft towels and washcloths.
The master bedroom features a king bed, and the marble master bath
has twin sinks. The second bedroom has a queen bed, and there is a
queen sleeper-sofa in the living room. The home sleeps from 2 to 6
guests. There is a fully equipped entertainment center with Cable
TV, VCR, DVD, and CD Stereo. There is also high-speed wireless
internet access, for those who cannnot be without the world wide web.
Don't forget the private, steamy, sunken hot tub spa. Star-gazing
while soaking in the hot tub spa is a special treat!
Many guests remark that the views are like a painting (and a number
of local artists have come to paint it!)- The Blue Pacific, The
Kilauea River and river valley, lush, green Crater Hill National
Wildlife Preserve, and a nearby tropical jungle waterfall. The
generous covered lanai overlooks all these AND the 1.5 acre lushly
landscaped property. Tropical fruits abound- bananas, limes, figs,
starfruit, and coconuts.
Tour incredibly beautiful Kauai, including the Na Pali trail,
Kilauea Lighthouse, Hanalei Bay, Tunnels Beach, Waimea Canyon, and
more. Go jungle river cruising in the 4 person canoe for a great
adventure. Paddles, lifejackets, and roof racks all included. OR,
just stay at home & soak in the private outdoor 6-person sunken
Kohler hot tub spa.
The home is aptly named- Hale Kai Kalani (House of the Heavenly
Sea). It is privately situated on 1.5 acres of land, and
conveniently located 1.5 miles outside of Kilauea Town, home of the
Kilauea Lighthouse and Crater Hill National Wildlife Refuge,
northernmost spot in the inhabited Hawaiian Islands!
We have many return guests who think of Hale Kai Kalani as their

This pad rocked. We've had a great time here. Thanks for providing

entertainment center. I suggest for anyone staying here that they
take a surfing lesson right below at the beach. The sand bottom is

My wife and I are very pleased that good fortune directed us to
choose Hale Kai Kalani as our honeymoon destination. The sense of
peace that is pervasive on Kaua'i seems to be magnified about this
house; the amenities allowed us to feel at home; the natural
surroundings are nothing short of spectacular, and the view- well,

Shopping and Restaurants, Swimming, Snorkeling and Diving, Water
skiing, Boating, Surfing, Boogie-boarding, Body Surfing, Renowned
helicopter "flightseeing" and Na Pali coast tours. There is a huge
neighboring botanical/sculpture, with tours available. On site
facials, massages, and body treatments from owner/practitioner are
available by appointment.

2008 Rates:
Jan. 6th to June 6, 2008 - $225/night or $1495/week for up to 2
guests. Add $7.50/night or $50/week per each additional guest.
(Maximum: 6 guests)
June 7 to August 30, 2008- $240/night or $1595/week for up to 4 guests
Add $7.50/night or $50/week per each additional guest. (Maximum: 6
guests)
Aug. 31st to Oct. 31, 2008- $225/night or $1495/week for 2 guests.
Add $7.50/night or $50/week per each additional guest. (Maximum: 6
guests)
Nov. 1 to Dec. 19, 2008- $210/night or $1395/week for up to 2 guests.
Add $7.50/night or $50/week per each additional guest. (Maximum: 6
guests)
Dec. 20, 2008 to Jan. 4, 2009- $1595/week for up to 4 guests. Add
$50/week per each additional guest. (Maximum 6 guests)
Normally a 5 night minimum stay. However, shorter stays between
established bookings are welcome, so please inquire.
Outcleaning fee $135 for 2 guests, $165 for parties of 3 or more.
State taxes total 11.42%.
A separate, refundable, $500 security deposit applies to all rentals. That deposit is returned by mail within 15
days of departure,less any loss or damages to the home or contents. Deductions are, thankfully, rare.
