Floor to ceiling views of the Pacific Ocean greet you as you
arrive at Blue Sea Cottage, an ocean front beach house perched on hill
in Oceanside. Blue Sea Cottage offers guests a lodge-like living room
with pitched ceilings and exposed beams and a deck overlooking the
ocean providing an unobstructed view of the ocean. The main floor has
a beautifully appointed bedroom with an ocean view. A second bedroom
and loft are upstairs. Luxury linens and quilts, marine-themed
antiques and overstuffed furniture enhance the ocean view.
The large dining area seats 8, and the fully equipped kitchen
includes all large and small appliances, pots, pans, utensils and
spices. Sandy beaches and amazing tide pools make Blue Sea Cottage the
perfect retreat for families, couples and friends.

• Crabbing (permit required) - boats, gear and instruction available in nearby Netarts
• Exploring tide pool on the beach north of Maxwell Point (walk through the tunnel or aroiund the point at low tide)
• Beach combing and collecting shells and agates
• Picking berries during late summer season
• Antiquing up and down the coast
• Boating out of the local marina
• Kayaking and canoeing in the bay (the ocean is a bit rough and has dangerous rip tides)
• Wind Surfing
• Golfing in public 9 hole course - not approved for PGA tornaments
• Collecting stones and shell on local beaches
• Walking for miles on local beaches
• Bicycling on the many miles of bike paths up and down the coast
• Surfing - Wind or board (bring a wet suit)

• Off Season (1/1/2009 - 5/20/2009)*: $220 per night
  In Season (5/21/2009 - 10/31/2009): $275 per night
  Off Season (11/1/2009 - 4/30/2010)*: $220 per night

* Holidays and Spring Break are booked at In Season rates.

• Taxes: 1% of rental.
• Non-Refundable Cleaning Fee: $80.00.
• Non-Refundable Pet Fee: $30.00.
• Refundable Security Deposit: $200.00.

Policies
* Currency: All rates in US Dollars.
* Credit Cards: All major credit cards accepted for both deposit and balance payments via Wells Fargo Bank.
* Checks: Checks accepted if received with sufficient time to clear your bank before arrival date.
* Initial Payment (Hold): A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation until 4 weeks prior to your arrival.
* Balance Payment (Confirmed): Four weeks prior to your arrival, you must submit the balance due to confirm your reservation.
* Short Notice Reservations: The full amount for short-notice
daily rates is immediately due at the time of making the reservation.
* Cancellations prior to arrival date: We charge a $35.00
cancellation fee and will refund the following if cancelled -
* 60 days prior - 100% of initial deposit.
* 45 days prior - 50% of Initial deposit less $35.00 cancellation fee.
* 30 days prior - No refund unless we can rebook the house.
* Children and infants: Welcome - Guest must provide for any required traveling, eating, bathing, and sleeping items for infants and small children.
* Dog Policy: Please call to discuss. If approved, there is a  $30.00 non-refundable fee.
* No Smoking: Smoking is not allowed in the house.
* Access to Cottage: Access is by short steps from street level.  There is no wheelchair access. There are no handicap facilities.
* Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. The property is cleaned just prior to your arrival.
* Guests: Bedding and dining can accommodate eight guests depending on the mix of adults and children and privacy requirements.
* Check-In/Check-Out: 3PM on first night of stay. Check-out is 11AM on morning after last night of stay.
* Entry: About one week prior to your arrival, we will email the lock box code to access the key lock box code (left side of door).
* Currency: All rates in US dollars. • Credit Cards: All major credit cards accepted for both deposit and balance payments via Wells Fargo Bank.
* Checks: Checks accepted if received with sufficient time to clear your bank before arrival date.

reservation.

* Security Deposit (Refundable based on Inspection):  $100.00 - If property damage or loss is determined immediately upon check-out, you will be contacted for compensation.
* Refunds:  $35.00 refund charge for all and any cancellations Full refund
available if cancellation made 60 days prior to stay.
