Vacation Rental Description

Hurrican Ike  
 
We were very fortunate and bleassed that our little house made it through the  
strom with only some fence damage and the loss of the tree in the back!  
 
We realize that many residents are in need of a home at this time and there  
are also the "First Responders" that need a place to stay while they help the  
island get back on its feet.     
 
Due to Hurrican Ike, we are temporarily suspending our "Vacation Rental"  
status and would like to offer the home for a 6 or 12 month lease.  
    
We will offer the house unfurnished, furnished or "As Is: if needed.  
 
Please call for monthly rental fee and deposit information.  
 
 
We are three blocks from the Beach!  Convenient to the Strand, Moody  
Gardens, the Convention Center and all the great Restaurants are  
only a few minutes away.   
 
We are thrilled to present this newly renovated house with three  
bedrooms with the softest bedding in town, one faux finished bath  
with a full tub and shower and a gorgeous newly designed kitchen.   
 
The house is approx. 1300 sq.ft. and offers 2 Queen Size Beds and 1  
set of bunk beds (the kids love'm), 2 sofas and 1 loveseat.  (We also  
have 2 additional twin mattresses for extra guests).   
 
There is a fenced yard and gated driveway with plenty of side street  
parking.  
 
Please bring your cell phone as we do not have phone service at this  
time.   
 
We do not rent to prom groups, school groups, spring break groups,  
fraternities or sororities.  We welcome families, family oriented  
groups and small coporate groups only.   
 
The main renter muse be 25 years of age.  Photo ID is required at  
the time of check in.   
 
No Pets.  Smoking is allowed outside.  Ashtrays are provided outside  
for your convenience.  Please do not throw butts in the yard.  
 
Please try to leave the house as you found it.  We do ask that you  
put all soiled linens in the clothes baskets provided, load and run  
the dishwasher if needed, and put all trash in the outside garbage  
container before you leave.   
 
Hurricane Policy: 
Refunds are given when the City of Galveston orders evacuation for  
the days of evacuation and subsequent days required for any damage  
that prevents occupancy. Refunds are not given for inclement weather  
that does not result in an official evacuation order.

Vacation Rental Rates

Please call for monthly rental fees. 
 
Summer Rates: (May thru September)  
Weekly:  
$950 (in Sun. after 6:00 pm / out Sun. by 1:00 pm)  
 
Weekend:  
$450 (in Fri. after 6:00 pm / out Sun. by 1:00 pm)  
 
Fall Rates: (October thru April) 
Weekly:  
$750 (in Sun. after 6:00 pm / out Sun. by 1:00 pm)  
 
Weekend:  
$350 (in Fri. after 6:00 pm / out Sun. by 1:00 pm)  
 
Additional days may be added - depending on availability.  
 
*Add 15% Hotel Occupancy tax. 
 
Reservations are required with at $300.00 security / damage deposit  
due at least 7 days prior to arrival date and the rental amount is  
due prior to check-in.  Cash rental payments can be made at the time  
of check-in.  We also accept personal checks, money orders or credit  
card payments through "Pay Pal".  Personal checks must be received  
at least 10 days prior to your arrival.  
 
The security deposit will be refunded in full within 7 days of check- 
out assuming there is no damage to the property or its contents.   
Deposits paid with credit cards will be refunded to the card, check  
refunds will be mailed.   
 
Cancellations are required 7 days before the arrival date.  Full  
advanced rental fees and deposits will be refunded if cancellations  
are made before the 7 days.  Cancellations with the 7 day period  
will forfeit the total deposit amount.  
 
Rental agreement and a copy of the "House Rules" will be executed at  
check-in.
