lane lined with pepper trees.  A picket fence surrounds your own 
private garden where an old oak has proudly stood for over 150 
years.  On the front porch one looks toward the old willow trees 
that surround the flowering lily pond where the turtles are seen 
sunning themselves.  At the front door colorful hand painted panels 
hint to the influence of old world Norwegian country living.  Inside 
a full kitchen with custom cabinetry, a pine breakfast nook, and a 
built-in day bed show the care and attention to detail that went 
into the renovation of this special place.  The room includes a 
charming Norwegian fireplace and the stairway with its heart carved 
banister leads to the second floor.  With the upstairs loft you will 
find a very comfortable queen bed and a newly remodeled bathroom. If 
you are looking for privacy, charm and comfort all under one tin 
roof, this appealing property can't be beat. Don’t be surprised to 
see 3 horses, a mini pony and a mustang, not to mention chickens, 
cats, dog, and bunny...all roaming happily together! The cottage is 
so sequestered one would never guess you are in walking or biking 
distance to the wine-tasting town of Los Olivos or 2 blocks to a 
popular gourmet market and restaurant.
