This beautiful cedar home features a dining/living room
with a cathedral ceiling, stone fireplace and sliding glass doors
onto a full deck overlooking picturesque Highland Lake.
Downstairs is a carpeted family room with cable TV, and pool table.
Two of the bedrooms have decks with sliding glass doors as does the loft. One bedroom has twin beds, one a queen and the third a double bed. With a sofa bed
in the loft in the house sleeps eight.
Seating areas on the decks have beautiful views of the lake.
Additional seating and a hammock hidden in the woods also are ideal
spots for reading and relaxing.
At the end of a winding path down
the hill to the lake, a private dock provides direct access for
swimming and boating. In addition to the private lake frontage, the
homeowner association maintains a beach with fire pit, and a tennis
court.

The house has a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher and
microwave. A washer and dryer, cable TV, VCR/DVD, and BBQ
grill are also available. The outside jacuzzi is generally available from April through October, but is emptied during colder weather. There is a pool
table in the lower level family room. Linens and bath towels are
NOT provided. No smoking in the house or on any of the decks. No
pets.

In addition to fishing and swimming in Highland Lake, the
surrounding area offers many opportunities for exploration and
recreation. Delaware River rafting, canoeing and tubing is nearby
as are many craft fairs, art galleries and antique stores. Several
golf courses are nearby. There are also riding stables in the
area.
The new Bethel Performing Arts Center, site of the original
Woodstock Festival is 20 minutes north. Other points of interest
include the Minisink Battleground, Roebling's Aquaduct, the D&H
Canal and Fort Delaware. The Eldred Preserve offers nature trails
and environmental programs. Half an hour to Milford, PA, and in
NY: Port Jervis, Monticello, Callicoon.
Winter provides opportunity for cross-country skiing and ice fishing
on the lake. Downhill skiing and snowboarding is a 30-45 minute
drive.
