Heron's Nest-Old Florida Style Retreat in Redington Shores

You won't find a more perfect setting than The Heron's Nest for a
memorable Florida vacation. You're just steps from the warm Gulf
waters. You're only about a 1 block to the beach and 1/2 block to
the relaxing Intercoastal Boca Ciega Bay. You can view Florida's
famous inspirational sunsets over the Gulf of Mexico while blowing
the traditional conch shell at the final rays of daylight. You are
right on the famous Redington Long Pier which extends 1,021 feet
into the Gulf of Mexico. The Pier is well-known by anglers who flock
from miles around to reel in huge Tarpon, Kingfish and Grouper.
Stroll the Pier and catch the big one. Enjoy your catch at an
evening barbeque in the shade of the covered patio. Relax in the
evening watching a fire in the chimenea. In the morning, enjoy a
grapefruit or orange fresh from the tree!

The Heron's Nest is a duplex featuring a pair of side-by-side 2
bedroom units. They have recently been remodeled and decorated for
vacation living.

The Back Nest features 2 Bedrooms and 1 Bath.
Bedroom #1 has a queen size bed and bedroom #2 has 2 twin beds.
There is a queen size sofa bed in the living room and the apartment
can comfortably sleep 6.

The Front Nest features 2 Bedrooms and 2 Baths.
The exceptionally large Master Bedroom has 2 full size beds and
bedroom #2 has a full size bed. There is a futon in the bonus room (den, TV room)
and a queen size sofa bed in the living room. The Front Nest can comfortably sleep 8.
There is a 50 inch TV in the living room and the apartment has been
recently renovated with new appliances, a new bathroom, and new flooring
(tile & wood laminate).


We are a Pet Friendly facility.

Covered Patio with Barbeque and Outdoor Dining Areas, Central
Heating and Air Conditioning, Free Laundry Facilities on Site,
Linens and Towels, Books and Games, 2 DirectTV Satellite Hookups,
VCR, and Phone. The kitchen is fully supplied with cooking
utensils, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, electric stove,
ceiling fan, and more.

It is in a quiet residential neighborhood that is being beautifully
transformed with the addition of brand new condos. The apartment is
tastefully decorated and feels very warm and cozy. There are
bicycles, beach chairs and water toys for your use.

High Speed Internet Access is available upon request.

We are an owner occupied facility. We pride ourselves for our clean
rooms and friendliness. We are there for you and want to make your
vacation truly memorable. You will want to come back year after
year. If you need anything that is not there, simply knock on our
door and ask for it. Chances are we can get it to you. Please
advise us of any special needs that you or your guest may have so
that we may prepare for you in advance.

Fishing, Jet Skiing, Sand Volleyball, Snorkeling, Swimming, Water
Skiing, Parasailing, Shelling, Snorkeling are all at your doorstep.

Visit Museums (MOSI and Salvador Dali among others),
Fort Desoto Park, Busch Gardens, 1 & 1/2 hours from Orlando and
Disney World, 1& 1/2 hours from Crystal River and Snorkeling with
the Manatees. Visit the beautiful cities of Tampa, Ybor City (famous
for its nightlife), St. Petersburg (The Pier, downtown & Museums),
Sarasota (Ringling Bros. Museum, etc.), Tarpon Springs, and
Clearwater, John's Pass and Treasure Island.

Golf, Miniature Golf, Cruises, Dolphin Watching, Wildlife Viewing,
Shopping, Restaurants, Cinemas, Theatre, Music, Sightseeing, and
