Vacation Rental Description

Forest Mountain Lodge is your home away from home. Enjoy fine  
mountain living in this perfect vacation mountain home featuring  
soaring pine ceilings, hardwood floors, a warm and inviting great  
room with beautifully appointed furnishings, a river rock gas  
fireplace, a large screen TV with surround sound cable channel  
viewing, a lovely dining area, a gourmet kitchen and more! This  
mountain retreat sits at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded only by  
serenity and forest views, to be enjoyed by all from the large  
picture windows around the home and from the decks. During winter  
months, children can create their own private sled and play areas  
right in their own front and back yards.  In the summer, they need  
not go far for a little hiking. 
 
There are 5 bedrooms consisting of two (King bed) master suites, two 
Queen bedrooms, and a double queen room to sleep four comfortably. On 
the lower level is an open family area with a pool table and a large 
screen TV. This Billiard room can accommodate sleeping for two with 
twin rollaways. Adjacent to this room is the 6th bedroom/video game  
room (with a 
full size futon bedding) for a gaming experience by the younger  
guests. 
 
There are 3 gas fireplaces located in the Living Room and Master 
Bedroom on the top floor and the Billiard Room on the lower level. 
 
There are four elegantly designed bathrooms in the home, complete  
with 
towels and luxurious toiletries. 
 
There is a 7-person hot tub on the upper deck amidst the ultimate 
natural setting surrounding the home. 
 
A security system is in place for your protection. Simple two-step 
instructions will be available for entry into the home. 
 
Wireless High-Speed internet is available througout the home. 
 
An automatic garage door opener will be provided. 
 
For extended stays, there is a laundry room equipped with a washer, 
dryer, iron and ironing board. 
 
The gourmet kitchen offers fine cabinetry and granite finishes. There 
are complete sets of dinnerware, glasses, barware, silverware and 
cooking utensils for all your dining and entertaining needs.  
Alternatively, chef prepared gourmet meals may be arranged if  
desired. 
 
Complimentary coffee and teas are available. 
 
For your grocery needs, there is a Raley’s Supermarket on the corner 
of Tahoe Boulevard and Emerald Bay (also known as HW 89). From Forest 
Mountain Road, take a right to Tahoe Mountain, take a left on Tahoe 
Boulevard and drive up a mile and a half. Before you reach the 
intersection, enter the driveway to your right. Within that 
intersection, there is also a small outlet shopping area and a  
Starbucks.

snowmobile trails through the woods. For hikers in their best 
condition, the Desolate Wilderness is a "must-see". Elevations  
ranging from 6,900 feet to over 10,000 feet offer spectacular 
landscape and crystal clear blue and green lake views, snow-crested 
mountain and forested meadow views! 
 
Angora Highlands is secluded from main traffic areas so you can enjoy 
a quiet and peaceful vacation, yet, just a short drive away are all 
the conveniences of South Lake Tahoe’s skiing, shopping, restaurants,

snowboarders and sightseers are whisked away on gondolas from the

RENTAL POLICY AND INFORMATION 
 
Prior to making your reservations, we ask that you carefully review 
our policies and procedures. 
 
REQUIREMENTS: Three (3) night minimum stay is required, except during 
peak and holiday periods when minimum stay requirements are longer. 
Last minute reservations are always welcome but are subject to 
availability.  
 
PAYMENTS: Payments may be made by personal check, cashiers check or 
money order. Personal checks returned will have a $20.00 service fee 
charged.  
 
CHECK-IN TIME is 4:00 PM and CHECK OUT TIME is 11:00 AM. Unauthorized 
extensions beyond check out time will result in a half to full day 
charge against your security deposit. To avoid such charges please 
call us prior to 10:00 AM to see if a late check out is possible.  
 
SUPPLIES: Upon arrival you will find a starter set of soaps, toilet 
paper & paper towels, coffee, tea cream and sugar.  You may want to 
bring or plan on locally purchasing additional supplies to last your 
entire stay. 
 
AMENITIES: Children under 16 have to be supervised by adults when 
using the jacuzzi baths, hot tub, and pool table.  Safety of the 
children is the sole responsibility of the accompanying adults. Owners 
waive any responsibility and liability for any accidents which may 
arise from use of the jacuzzi baths, hot tub, and pool table.  In 
addition, owners waive any responsibility for any accidents which may 
arise due to snow, ice, and any other hazardous conditions, and 
negligence by guests or any members of their party. 
 
FIREWOOD: There are three gas fireplaces in the property. Firewood is 
not necessary since these are all environmentally-safe gas fireplaces.  
 
TELEPHONES: There is a telephone line that allows unlimited local 
calls but will require a calling card or credit card to place long 
distance calls.  
 
HOUSEKEEPING: All reservations are subject to a housekeeping charge of 
$200.00 for departure cleaning.  This charge is itemized in your 
statement.  For weekly guests, daily housekeeping services can be 
provided upon request for an extra charge of $100.00 daily.  An 
initial bed linen set and one set of bath towels per person are 
provided.  Guests are asked to leave the house with trash gathered and 
left in the garbage bins inside the garage, dishes washed or 
dishwasher started and furniture arranged as upon arrival.  If the 
house is left excessively dirty, your security deposit will be charged 
for additional cleaning charges.  Our housekeeping staff will make the 
final preparations of the house for the next guests.   
 
PETS: Our property is not designed to safely house pets. Contact us 
for further information.  
 
AIR CONDITIONING: As Lake Tahoe enjoys a temperate climate during 
summer, we do not have air-conditioning. 
 
DEPOSITS: Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of deposit of 50% of 
total charges.  
 
SECURITY DEPOSIT: All rentals require a security deposit. The minimum 
deposit is $1000.00 but may be made higher due to special 
circumstances. The security deposit must be paid together with the 
payment of the remaining fifty percent (50%) 30 days before arrival 
date.  However, deposits for weekly Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New 
Years reservations must be received 60 days before arrival. Any 
damages to the unit resulting from misuse, neglect abuse or theft by 
the guest or any member of his party or invitee will be charged to the 
security deposit.  We will deposit the security deposit upon receiving 
it.   The security deposit shall be refunded back within 10 days after 
receiving the keys to the property if the property is left in good 
condition. ** 
 
REFUNDS: Fifty percent (50%) of deposit is refundable is the 
reservation is canceled at least 30 days prior to your arrival. No 
refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 30 days of 
arrival for any reason and within 60 days of arrival for weekly 
Holiday bookings. Security deposit of $1000.00 is refundable after ten 
days after keys are mailed back if property is left without any 
damages or excessive dirt. **
