Located in the exclusive gated community of Nantahala Highlands,

with over 1200 square feet of covered deck. Trout Haven boasts an
unmatched view of Lake Nantahala with a towering family room that
has a 22 foot wide by 22 foot high wall of glass overlooking the
lake and surrounding mountains. In addition to the inspiring family
room, Trout Haven has two master suites (king-size beds with
oversized luxury showers), one queen-size suite, and a special kids
den with fun bunkbeds. This provides luxury accomodations for 6
adults and 4 children. The kitchen features custom black distressed
cabinets, high-end Kitchen Aid stainless steel appliances, beautiful
granite countertops. Trout Haven also features all Kohler fixtures,
Kicthler lighting, and a six person Dynasty Spa. The lower level has
a full-size game room with a custom bar, card table, high-end slate
pool table, and bar entertainment system.

The home's finishes include hand split cedar shake shingles and
fieldstone exterior, custom spruce interior walls and ceilings, and
luxurious beech wood flooring throughout. The main level features
custom 9 ft attrium doors facing the lake and over 51 pieces of
custom glass to take in the overall beauty of the mountain and lake.
The interior is professional designed by Trimble Kelly Studios of
Blue Ridge, GA, whose work is frequently featured in Log Home Design
Ideas. The theme of the interior is an upscale rustic Adirondack
camp style motif. The property contains 279 feet of shore front, a
20 foot by 20 foot dock, and a direct view of the surrounding
national forest to provide a view that is not spoiled by other
homes.

Nantahala is truly unlike any lake in the southeast. The water
quality is unmatched and the lake is one of the few east coast lakes
clear enough to support salmon. At over 3000 feet elevation, the
lake is the second highest lake east of the Mississippi. Nantahala
is truly an outdoorsman’s paradise with whitewater rafting,
kayaking, canoeing, camping, mountain hiking, and biking. The
location provides a needed break from the Florida heat, a welcome
rest from crowded Atlanta and a convenient point for exploring the
Highlands or Asheville, roughly an hour away.

Nantahala Highlands, where Trout Haven is located, is a private
upscale development located on Lake Nantahala. It features a gated
community that has a mix of full time and part time residents. To
preserve the peace and tranquility of this community, all renters
will be required to comply with a rental agreement that observes the
upscale nature of this community (i.e. No ATVs, Parties outside
after 11pm, community road safety, etc). The rental agreement is not
overly restrictive and will ensure that everyone in the community
has a wonderful time.
