Vacation Rental Description

McKinney Gap is a warm and family-friendly, air coditioned  mountain 
Chalet, at approximately 5000' altitude featuring incredible views. 
Just 20 minutes north of Asheville, NC, it offers a wonderful 
mountain experience of nature and all seasons fun; while it's close 
proximity to Asheville offers the famous Biltmore House, fine dining, 
local artisans and crafts. Note: Four-wheel drive required in Winter.

Vacation Rental Amenities

The air-conditioned home features a wonderful rock fireplace, decks 
overlooking the mountains and valley below. The four bedrooms consist 
of 1 queen, 1 queen, 2 twins, 1 daybed (2 twins). Dishwasher, clothes 
washer and dryer also available. DVD, CD, Radio, and Tape Players

Activities and Attractions

Seasonally available: Community Swimming Pool, Tennis Courts, Trout 
Ponds, Wildlife and Bird Watching. Horseback Riding, swimming, 
tubing and rafting. Gem Mining, Hiking and Rock Climbing on the 
Appalachian Trail. Snow skiing and sledding. Close proximity to 
Asheville also offers the famous Biltmore House, great shopping, 
wonderful antique treasures, fine dining, local artisans and crafts.
